What you'll be doing:

Schedule: Full Time - Mondays-Fridays, typically from ~8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The Dietary Assistant works alongside the dietary department by supporting patients with their dietary needs, completing food-related projects, providing administrative support to dietitians, supervising patients at meals and snacks, supporting dietitians with running groups and meals, and maintaining menus as directed.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
<ul><li>Distributes, collects and corrects patient menus weekly
<ul><li>Updates patient menus and meal plans as directed by Clinical Dietitians</li>
</ul></li><li>Meet with patients one-on-one to support with menu completion as needed</li>
<li>Completes documentation for meal support or groups as required</li>
<li>Sets up and supports patient meals, snacks and restaurant outings as needed</li>
<li>Completes projects as directed by members of the Dietary Team</li>
<li>Shops for groceries and orders food (will vary by location)</li>
<li>Supports Clinical Dietitians in preparing for nutrition and cooking groups</li>
<li>Coordinate with Food Service team to ensure all patients' dietary needs are met, including monitoring for food allergens</li>
<li>Collects and analyzes patient data as related to dietary department</li>
</ul>
Must haves:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED (required)</li>
<li>Valid driver's license is required with safe driving record (required)</li>
</ul>
Bonus qualities:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree (preferred)</li>
<li>Experience working in the mental health and/or nutrition field (preferred)</li>
