Bring your enthusiasm for patient service and office management to make a positive impact on our patients&rsquo; healthcare journey!&lt;Responsibilities&gt;<ul><li>Act as the primary point of contact for patient intake via phone, email, and in-person interactions, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills</li><li>Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility checks using systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks</li><li>Collect and document accurate patient information, including medical history, current medications, and reason for visit, utilizing EHR systems and maintaining HIPAA compliance</li><li>Schedule appointments efficiently while coordinating with clinical staff to optimize clinic flow and reduce wait times</li><li>Review medical documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all necessary information is captured for billing and care planning purposes</li><li>Assist with medical billing procedures by understanding CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards, and Medicare requirements</li><li>Maintain organized medical records and ensure proper filing within electronic systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft; update patient files regularly</li><li>Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, multi-line phone handling, and managing front desk operations to foster a welcoming environment</li></ul>&lt;Qualifications&gt;<ul><li>Proven experience in medical office administration or clinic support roles; dental clinic experience is a plus</li><li>Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix or Eaglesoft</li><li>Familiarity with medical coding (CPT, ICD-10/ICD-9), insurance verification processes, and Medicare guidelines</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally and courteously</li><li>Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), typing (including 10-key), and health information management software</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times</li><li>Previous clinic or medical office experience involving intake procedures or front desk responsibilities is preferred</li></ul>Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient care through efficient intake processes!
