The Opportunity:
ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Specialist to join our London team. In this role, you will you will play a key role in our technical delivery team by working with a Client Technology Manager (CTM), and Senior Engineers to drive the technology programs, including Cloud implementation and support, desktop engineering escalation and networking for a defined portfolio of clients. Using latest and greatest technologies and solutions, you will support the client&rsquo;s innovation by following a set of standards and best practices in a rapidly evolving technology landscape. 


This is a hybrid role with a strong preference for candidates to be based in the London area. 


What you will do:
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with, and act as a tier 3 escalation point for Client Technology Management, Service Desk, Engineering and other client support teams</li>
<li>Provide accurate, comprehensive notes on work performed to account for time spent with customers</li>
<li>Provide advanced support of cloud infrastructures such as Microsoft 365/Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS)</li>
<li>Provide escalation support on common productivity technologies such as Microsoft 365 modern workplace including Intune</li>
<li>Implement and manage enterprise mail platform and security systems such as Microsoft Exchange, Google Workspace, Proofpoint Essentials and Mimecast</li>
<li>Take ownership of complex technical challenges and provide long term fixes based on root cause analysis</li>
<li>Document processes and procedures which explain system functionality or regular tasks to contribute to our internal knowledge base including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOP)</li>
<li>Apply best-practice configurations to client security platforms such as Azure Active Directory Conditional Access, DUO Multifactor Authentication (MFA) services, and zero-trust services such as Cloudflare and iBoss</li>
<li>Provide high-level consultation on information security fundamentals such as good password hygiene practices, multi-factor authentication recommendations and social-engineering defense</li>
<li>Perform system maintenance tasks including software and operating system patching, software version upgrades, critical patch applications, and vulnerability remediation</li>
<li>Provide support of Active Directory such as Domain Controller upgrades, Group Policy creation, scheduled software deployments, network policy maintenance, and certificate management</li>
<li>Interface with common technology support tools such as Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Mobile Device/Mobile Application Management, Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery and participate in after-hours client project implementations, migrations, and upgrades</li></ul> 


Who you are:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in an Information Technology related field, or 3+ years comparable experience in a technology administration role</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems such as Windows Server and Windows 10/11</li>
<li>Intermediate understanding of networking concepts: Routing, Switching, network security, hardware and software VPN clients</li>
<li>Proficient with deployment and troubleshooting of operating systems and applications</li>
<li>Android/iOS configuration, troubleshooting and integration with MDM solutions</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft 365 modern workplace including Intune</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems such as Windows Server and Windows 10/11</li>
<li>Experience with cyber-security concepts (Multi-Factor Authentication, Endpoint protection, Web and Mail security platforms)</li>
<li>Ability to perform patching and maintenance of systems</li>
<li>Experience with backup configuration and data recovery</li>
<li>Familiarity with enterprise management tools and tasks (vulnerability management, event management, RMM)</li>
<li>Experience using PowerShell to manage Microsoft products</li>
<li>Proficient in incident response management during security events and high-priority escalations, as well as disaster recovery and business continuity activations</li></ul> 


Bonus points if you have:
<ul><li>Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSP) preferred</li>
<li>Financial Services or Life Science industry experience a plus</li>
<li>Certifications in cloud services, network management or cyber-security, such as CCNA, CISSP, Azure Fundamentals and VCP a plus but not required</li>
<li>Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix digital workspace platform</li></ul>

The Opportunity:
ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Lead, Implementation Services to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting multiple implementation projects, ensuring implementations are completed on time, within allocated hours, and meet client expectations. This includes evaluating client technology needs, assisting with the development of configurations and standards that support ECI and Client business processes, utilizing automation of standardized solutions, validate and troubleshoot deployments, hardware/software installations and upgrades, new infrastructure build outs, and assisting with the creation of internal documentation and client facing training materials. The successful candidate will work with their Associate Director and internal teams to review and manage solution designs, project scopes, and client proposals. 


This is a hybrid role with a strong preference for candidates to be based in the London area. 


What you will do:

<li>Work on a team with talented engineers such as yourself, who enjoy collaborating to meet project objectives</li>
<li>Deploy ECI&rsquo;s Public and Private Cloud base solutions, on-premises infrastructure services, and integrate with Microsoft Cloud Ecosystem solutions</li>
<li>Independently drive project objectives to closure with minimal to no supervision while providing regular status updates to PMO and Executive team.</li>
<li>Collaborate with various groups in the organization to implement innovative technologies, upgrade, migrate, and retire outdated Infrastructure and solutions</li>
<li>Document processes, procedures, lessons learned for integrating into iterative deployment process and automation improvement</li>
<li>Provide Tier 3 escalation for engineering team to diagnose and resolve issues in onboarding client&rsquo;s project or production environments, coordinating with internal resources and vendors</li>
<li>Engage in self-directed continuous improvement and learning of ECI and Industry products including Azure/O365/AWS certifications throughout the year.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 


Who you are:
<ul><li>You are a Leader, Motivator, Problem Solver, and Mentor to your engineers and colleagues!</li>
<li>College diploma or University degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent field/related experience</li>
<li>10 years in a project engineering or similar role, including 5 years leading teams with a focus on deploying cloud based and on-premises infrastructure solutions.</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of and experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, PowerShell, Azure Active Directory, AD sync, Exchange Online / Hybrid / On-premises, SharePoint Online and OneDrive</li>
<li>Experienced with deployment and management of remote access solutions; Azure AVD</li>
<li>Experienced with MDM technologies, with a focus on Intune MDM/MAM</li>
<li>Experienced with building, retiring, and migrating Domain Controllers, DFS/R, DHCP, DNS, GPO&rsquo;s</li>
<li>Exceptional written, oral communication, and documentation skills</li>
<li>Exceptional people skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning</li>
<li>Highly self-motivated and directed, with exacting attention to detail</li>
<li>Outstanding customer services skills and ability to demonstrate client sensitivity</li></ul>
