<b>Key Responsibilities</b><br>
<b>This position may be required to perform additional tasks, responsibilities, or duties as assigned:</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation</li>
<li>Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts</li>
<li>Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities</li>
<li>Maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies and GAAP</li>
<li>Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed</li>
<li>Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management</li>
<li>Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries</li>
<li>Monitor and maintain fixed asset schedules</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures</li>
<li>Assist in tax filings and research</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies or issues</li>
</ul><div><b>Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field</li>
<li>1&ndash;3 years of accounting experience (internships included)</li>
<li>Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles</li>
<li>Proficiency with accounting software</li>
<li>Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities</li>
<li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li>
<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li>
</ul><div><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>Experience in corporate accounting or public accounting</li>
<li>CPA or CPA‑track candidates</li>
<li>Familiarity with ERP systems and automated accounting tools (Epicor/Solar Eclipse experience desired)</li>
<li>Desire for continuous improvement, team player, high integrity, positive &ldquo;can do&rdquo; attitude, able to meet deadlines</li>

<ul><li>Full‑time position, Monday through Friday in Corydon, Indiana, with some flexibility after initial training period</li>
