 Project Overview:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Supports Generation, Transmission, Renewables and Canals projects and work providing EHS oversight for Contractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Works with site EHS teams to ensure coverage in each region for all work being performed.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Pay Rate:
 
 $35.00-$40.00/Hour
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Reviews HASP submitted by contractors to ensure job task hazards are identified and mitigation plans are documented.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure Contractors have adequate training for task being performed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides frequent on site reviews of contractors work, providing written summary of gaps and issues with contractors workforce, workplace and workplan.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures corrective actions are developed and implemented for identified gaps.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stops Work when conditions exist that could result in a potential significant injury or fatality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures daily job briefs are conducted.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coaches Contractor employees and Subs to ensure they utilize proper PPE.
 </li>
 <li>
 Leads and participates with Incident investigations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist Project Delivery and Management staff with various safety and environmental questions and matters.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinates with emergency service organizations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attends contractor safety committee meetings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support leadership in the preparation of internal reports by gathering data as requested.
 </li>
 <li>
 Executes other EHS task requested by management.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines covering safety, health and environmental aspects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Incident Investigation (RCA) trained.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Power Generation, transmission systems, renewables and components.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work on multiple projects/Task concurrently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of and experience with workplace hazards for construction, electric utility, transmission substations and right of ways.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work closely with site/region leadership in a matrixed fashion.
