Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Draughtsman / Draftswomen Location: Vallichira, Pala, Kottayam Dst. Job Type: Full-Time Salary: &#8377; 8,000.00 - &#8377;25,000.00/- per month Experience Level: 0-6 year experiencedJob Summary:We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor and Draughtsman to join our growing team. This dual-role position requires expertise in both technical drafting and cost estimation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating detailed drawings and conducting accurate quantity take-offs, budgeting, and cost control for construction projects.Quantity Surveyor Duties:<ul><li>Prepare quantity take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications</li><li>Estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment</li><li>Assist in budget planning, tender preparation, and cost analysis</li><li>Track project expenses and provide cost control recommendations</li><li>Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and site teams for cost tracking and verification</li><li>Evaluate variations and prepare payment certificates and reports</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:Draughtsman Duties:<ul><li>Prepare detailed architectural and sanction drawings using AutoCAD or relevant software</li><li>Convert sketches, site measurements, and specifications into technical drawings</li><li>Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy</li><li>Update drawings to reflect design changes and maintain drawing records</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant codes and project standards</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field</li><li>Strong knowledge of estimation techniques and construction methods</li><li>0-3 years of experience in quantity surveying and drafting</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying software</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects</li><li>Familiarity with local construction codes and tendering procedures</li><li>Ability to multitask and handle site-based and office-based responsibilities</li><li>Strong communication skills to coordinate across departments</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Travel allowance (if applicable)</li><li>Career growth and learning opportunities</li><li>Positive, team-oriented work culture</li></ul>How to Apply:Submit your updated resume through Indeed.
