<p>
As the Vice President of Data &amp; AI Governance, you will be the visionary leader for this new product line. Reporting directly to the CPO, you will define the strategy, build the team, design the governance framework, and launch innovative solutions that help our customers manage data trust, model governance, compliance, metadata, lineage, ethical AI, and the full lifecycle of analytics and AI. You will partner closely with Engineering, Sales and our strategic partners to ensure that governance is embedded and commercialized.</p>

Your leadership will be foundational-setting the direction, culture, and capabilities of this new offering, and helping EDB deliver governance-first value to customers in the age of data, AI and regulatory scrutiny.</p>

Your impact will be:</b></h2>
<ul><li>Defining and owning the go-to-market strategy and roadmap for EDB's data &amp; AI governance offering, aligned with market demand, regulatory trends and EDB's core product ecosystem.</li>
<li>Building, leading and scaling a high-performing team covering governance strategy, metadata &amp; lineage, data quality, model governance, policy &amp; compliance, risk management, and enablement.</li>
<li>Developing governance frameworks, standards and toolsets that address data governance (data catalogs, lineage, stewardship), model governance (monitoring, bias, transparency), and compliance (privacy, AI regulation).</li>
<li>Partnering with Engineering to embed governance capabilities into EDB's PG AI platform- enabling customers to adopt governable data and AI at scale.</li>
<li>Collaborating with legal, compliance, risk, and security functions to anticipate regulation (e.g., AI Act, data sovereignty, privacy laws) and build solutions that ensure customers meet evolving requirements.</li>
<li>Evangelizing governance as a value differentiator: articulating and quantifying business outcomes (data trust, faster AI adoption, risk reduction, audit readiness) to customers, partners and internal stakeholders.</li>
<li>Evangelizing internally and externally: representing EDB's governance vision to customers, analysts, industry forums and drive thought leadership in the governance domain.</li>
<li>Defining and tracking success metrics and KPIs for the business unit: adoption, customer satisfaction, governance maturity improvement, revenue growth, cost savings, compliance incidents avoided.</li>
<li>Make strategic build vs. buy decisions for governance tooling and partner ecosystems, stay abreast of emerging technologies (metadata automation, model observability, vector governance, data mesh).</li>
<li>Manage budget, resource allocation, and roadmap prioritization for the governance business unit.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What you will bring:</b></h2>
<ul><li>Minimum 10 + years of progressive experience in data, analytics, AI, and governance roles, with at least 5&ndash;7 years in senior leadership (VP/Director) positions.</li>
<li>Proven track record building and scaling governance programs (data governance, AI/model governance or analytics governance) preferably in enterprise software, cloud, or data-centric companies.\</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of data governance disciplines: metadata/lineage, data quality, stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, and model governance.</li>
<li>Strong expertise in AI/ML governance: model monitoring, bias mitigation, transparency, auditability, AI risk frameworks.</li>
<li>Excellent strategic business acumen: ability to translate governance investments into measurable business value (speed, trust, risk mitigation, compliance).</li>
<li>Exceptional leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills: able to engage executives, product teams, engineering, legal/compliance and customers.</li>
<li>Experience operating in regulated environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare, global enterprises) including understanding of privacy laws, AI regulation, data sovereignty.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to launch new products, define product-market fit, and scale go-to-market.</li>
<li>Strong track record of decision-making around technology strategy, tool selection, vendor ecosystems and partnerships.</li>

Position Description</b></p>
<p>
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Global Payroll team at EDB. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with international payroll, with a keen eye for detail, and a passion for process improvement. You will play a vital role in supporting our growing global workforce and ensuring a seamless payroll experience for all.</p>
<p><b>
Main Function</b></p>
<p>
In this role, you will be a key contributor to our payroll operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll in accordance with our policies for our employees across the globe. Additionally, you will help drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll cycle.</p>
<p><b>
What your impact will be:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare and process end to end global payroll for various countries, working closely with our international payroll providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li>
<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance and resolving payroll-related queries, policies, ensuring effective resolution in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Help ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international regulations, data privacy standards, and EDB's internal policies.</li>
<li>Support payroll accounting close activities, including the preparation of accruals and account reconciliations, prepare and post payroll journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and partner with the accounting team to resolve variances.</li>
<li>Assist with year-end activities, including the reconciliation and support for the distribution of annual tax forms (e.g., W-2s).</li>
<li>Support the administration of retirement and benefit contributions (e.g., 401(k)), including processing files and assisting with compliance activities.</li>
<li>Assist with the review of quarterly payroll tax reporting and help research and resolve payroll/tax reporting issues.</li>
<li>Prepare and generate internal payroll reports for management and assist with external regulatory filings.</li>
<li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function, helping to enhance efficiency, leverage automation, and improve the stakeholder experience.</li>
<li>Invoice Management: Populate and prepare invoices related to payroll, benefits, and other third-party remittances.</li>
<li>Data Analysis &amp; Reporting: Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports, analyze payroll data, and support financial audits. This includes using functions like VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>What you will bring:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>A strong knowledge of US and international payroll processes and best practices.</li>
<li>5+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in a global payroll function.</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in an Accounting, Business, Human Resources or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience. Professional designation such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred.</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with payroll &amp; accounting software systems. Workday and NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.</li>
