<div><p>As the first team member a guest encounters inside Eddie Merlot?s, the Host is responsible for welcoming guests and offering superior hospitality to all visitors. The Host greets guests either in person or by phone to schedule reservations and assists guests as they enter the restaurant. Hosts are responsible for effectively coordinating and controlling the flow of guests at the front of the restaurant by greeting, seating, and acknowledging departures of guests. Hosts maintain their station in a clean and orderly manner and partner with Valets, Servers, and other team members to ensure that every guest experiences outstanding guest service.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Complete and pass required training modules ? both initial and ongoing.</li>
<li>Know your work schedule for the week, arrive at work on time, and meet standards for uniform and professional appearance.</li>
<li>Create a positive first impression of Eddie Merlot?s. Exceed guest expectations at the front desk and waiting areas.</li>
<li>Check the reservation list and coordinate with Managers to anticipate guest flow, peak times, and duties associated with banquets or special events.</li>
<li>Obtain station assignments for Servers and Bussers from the manager.</li>
<li>Complete opening, side, and closing duties in a timely manner, according to established standards and procedures.</li>
<li>Assist Manager in planning reservations and assigning parties to appropriate tables and/or Servers.</li>
<li>Answer the phone in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Correctly take, confirm, and document reservation.</li>
<li>Acknowledge and greet arriving guests; invite departing guests to return.</li>
<li>Assist guests with coat check on arrival and departure as needed.</li>
<li>Escort guests to assigned table; deliver and present menus.</li>
<li>Control the flow of business by practicing rotation seating, anticipating table turns, and following the reservation and seating plan.</li>
<li>Re-set tables in dining room and perform other dining room maintenance duties.</li>
<li>Accurately quote waiting times to guests and correctly maintain the ?waiting? list. Inform manager when waiting times are running over times quoted to guests.</li>
<li>Maintain the safety, cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby. Follow standard procedure for bathroom checks.</li>
<li>Assist with Platinum Club service and encourage membership.</li>
<li>May be scheduled to work meetings, banquets, and special events.</li>
<li>Communicate information regarding guest requests or complaints and ideas for improvement to Managers.</li>
<li>Support team members by willingly assisting as needed and perform other duties as assigned by Manager(s).</li>
<li>Follow Eddie Merlot?s policies, procedures, standards, and performance expectations, as well as applicable laws and regulations related to liquor, food handling, sanitation, and safety at all times.</li></ul></div>

<p></p><div><p>Position Summary:Bartenders play an essential role in delivering the superior guest service that is central to the mission of Eddie Merlot's. Based on extensive knowledge of beverage and menu options, Bartenders prepare and serve beverages for the lounge and the dining room in accordance with established recipes and presentation guidelines. In addition, Bartenders total and present checks, maintain their station in a clean and orderly manner, and follow all sanitation, food handling, and liquor regulations. Bartenders partner with Servers, Bussers, and other team members to ensure that each and every guest receives outstanding service and hospitality.</p><p>
Responsibilities</p><ul>
<li>Complete and pass required training modules &ndash; both initial and ongoing - for Bartenders and Servers.</li>
<li>Know your work schedule for the week, arrive at work on time, and meet standards for uniform and professional appearance.</li>
<li>Know and understand beverage and menu options. Follow established recipes and presentation guidelines.</li>
<li>Communicate with Manager and Hosts to understand reservations, guest flow, large parties, or special event needs.</li>
<li>Ensure the bar is clean and well-stocked. Ensure the Lounge is clean and correctly set up for guests. Complete opening duties checklist.</li>
<li>Greet guests as they arrive in the bar and take beverage orders. Prepare and serve drinks, ensuring that lounge guests receive outstanding service.</li>
<li>Guide guests through the menu and ordering process. Answer questions. Follow menu merchandising procedures by listening, explaining specials, suggesting items, and up-selling.</li>
<li>Follow standard procedures for accurately taking and inputting food orders. Serve appetizers and menu items in accordance with procedures.</li>
<li>Follow up with Guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and food.</li>
<li>Know and follow established drink recipes and presentation specifications. Responsible for accurate pouring and portion control.</li>
<li>Mix drinks for Dining Room guests; place on service bar area.</li>
<li>Follow established procedures for check presentation, payment, and tip-reporting.</li>
<li>As they leave, thank Guests for dining with us and invite them to return.</li>
<li>Clean, stock, and maintain the bar throughout the shift. Perform side duties, closing duties, and other duties as assigned by the Manager(s).</li>
<li>Take phone calls from guest for &acirc;??To Go&acirc;?? orders</li>
<li>Assist with Prime Society service and encourage membership.</li>
<li>Communicate information regarding Guest requests or complaints, out-of-stock items, and ideas for improvement to Managers.</li>
<li>May be scheduled to work meetings, banquets, and special events.</li>
<li>Maintain a good team-work environment by willingly assisting other team members with their station duties and side work when there is a need and/or when available.</li>
<li>Follow Eddie Merlot's policies, procedures, standards, and performance expectations, as well as applicable laws and regulations related to liquor, food handling, sanitation, and safety at all times.</li></ul></div><p></p>
