Accountant &ndash; Muscat, OmanLocation: Muscat, OmanCompany: EDG Gold &amp; PetroleumWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Muscat, Oman.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage accounts receivable and payable functions.</li><li>Serve as a liaison between departments and external suppliers.</li><li>Handle all financial operations, including payroll processing and purchase orders.</li><li>Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and ensure accuracy in financial procedures and statements.</li><li>Perform banking transactions and reconciliations.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and business partners.</li><li>Maintain and update vendor databases and financial spreadsheets.</li><li>Reconcile supplier statements and manage payment schedules.</li><li>Negotiate payment terms with vendors and suppliers.</li><li>Conduct regular internal financial audits.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting or finance.</li><li>Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of proven experience in a similar role within Oman.</li><li>Certifications in Accounting, Finance, or CMA qualification will be considered an added advantage.</li><li>Experience in ERP systems is required.</li><li>Knowledge of VAT regulations and multi-currency transactions.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with sound business acumen.</li></ul>Become part of a visionary team shaping the future of investment and development in the region.&quot;Together, we will make an impact and build the earth.&quot;Job Type: Full-timePay: From RO600.000 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
