<div>Overview:

The Scrum Master serves as a servant leader for the CRAFT team, guiding Agile delivery practices to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an examiner workflow tool. This role facilitates Scrum ceremonies, promotes backlog hygiene, removes impediments, and coaches the team, Product Owners, and stakeholders to embrace Agile principles while supporting delivery in an AWS cloud environment.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Serve as Scrum Master for the CRAFT team, facilitating Agile best practices and supporting successful delivery of the examiner workflow tool.</li><li>
Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.</li><li>
Coach the development team, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile values, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.</li><li>
Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog refinement, prioritization, and planning activities are effective and aligned to delivery goals.</li><li>
Identify, track, and remove blockers and impediments that affect team velocity, delivery, or collaboration.</li><li>
Promote self-organization, accountability, and high-performing team behaviors across the Agile delivery lifecycle.</li><li>
Support the team in adopting Agile techniques such as user stories, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, and Agile games.</li><li>
Collaborate with management and cross-functional stakeholders to reinforce Agile transformation efforts and delivery alignment.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Computing Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.</li><li>
Minimum 10 years of experience leading projects or key business initiatives.</li><li>
2 years of IT portfolio and customer relationship management experience.</li><li>
At least one of the following certifications or equivalent: PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to engage and coach product teams on self-organization and continuous improvement.</li><li>
Experience working closely with Product Owners to scope and plan current and future work.</li><li>
Knowledge of Agile delivery approaches including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.</li><li>
Hands-on knowledge of Agile techniques such as user stories, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, and Agile games.</li><li>
Experience serving as a Scrum Master in an Agile transformation environment.</li></ul><div><b>
Salary: </b>$143,900 - 151,000</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Scrum Master

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a major national laboratory onsite in Albuquerque, NM.</div><div></div><div><br>
The succesful candidate will play a crucial role in managing Agile development processes, including Scrum and Kanban product development implementations. The position requires close collaboration with the Product Owner and Development team to develop and prioritize the backlog enabling the team to deliver agreed upon outcomes. The Scrum Master is responsible for resolving impediments, facilitating key Agile events, and fostering a safe and trusting team environment. Operating in a hybrid Agile environment, the Scrum Master must adapt Agile practices to align with non-Agile dependencies (e.g., external partners, reporting requirements, etc.) while adhering to established enterprise processes and governance.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Ensure the team effectively implements Agile practices</li><li>
Foster a safe and trusting team environment that encourages self-organization and impediment resolution</li><li>
Encourage accountability with the team for meeting commitments.</li><li>
Assist the team with estimation and provide metrics (cumulative flow diagrams, velocity etc.) to track performance</li><li>
Facilitate decision making and conflict resolution.</li><li>
Communicates timelines and dependencies to stakeholders.</li><li>
Guide teams in adapting Agile practices to effectively navigate hybrid delivery constraints while adhering to Agile values and principles</li><li>
Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing actionable items from retrospectives.</li><li>
Support integration of Agile team outputs into broader program (potentially waterfall-based plans).</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in an IT-related field or a similar discipline, along with 5 years or more of relevant experience; or a total of 11 years of relevant experience without a degree.</li><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance.</li><li>
Ability to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM.</li><li>
Must be a U.S. Citizen.</li></ul><div>
Required Skills:</div><ul><li>
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent (e.g., Scaled Agile Framework Scrum Master Certification).</li><li>
Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>
Proficiency with at least one Agile Lifecycle Management tool (e.g., Jira, Rally, Gitlab).</li><li>
Experience with software development projects and the software development lifecycle.</li></ul><div>
Desired Skills:</div><ul><li>
Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).</li><li>
One or more Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications.</li><li>
Experience working in a SAFe implementation.</li><li>
