Summary:</b></div><div><b>
The Data Architect will be using agile methodologies to design, build, and transform business solutions through an ERP Modernization effort and beyond to stabilization. As a member of the Business Applications and Data Services group (ADS-BADS), you will focus on executing an enterprise-wide data strategy to modernize our core operational data store and transition to a cutting-edge, scalable data platform.</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Los Alamos National Laboratory has selected SAP for our next-generation Cloud ERP solution. In parallel, we will require a future state data strategy to take advantage of new tools and technology to help us modernize our current on-prem operational data store. This work plays a critical role in supporting key institutional initiatives such as enabling real-time analytics, AI/ML capabilities, and enhanced operational efficiency.</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
The Data Architect will be critical in the transformation of our legacy data environment into a modern, cloud-native architecture. In concert with institutional knowledge experts and ERP implementation planner and integrators, you will define the data strategy, standards, and blueprints for migrating and integrating high-volume operational data into a new platform, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility across the enterprise.</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key responsibilities include:</b></div><ul><li><b>Day-to-day technical interface between the facility operations organization and the programmatic tenants in a facility or a collection of facilities.
</b></li><li><b>Assists in the day-to-day business operations functions and in the development and deliverance of facility operations-focused programs, policies, processes, and procedures in support of safe and compliant facility operations.
</b></li><li><b>Duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to, providing guidance on governmental regulations and Laboratory guidelines; conducting incident and general issues management investigations and reporting; participating in or supporting readiness reviews for operations; supporting the activity approval process; developing and maintaining required operational documentation and procedural manuals; planning and budgeting; and providing other compliance and/or quality-related support functions including development of training, delivery of facility-level training, tracking and assurance of employee training; property accountability, and access control.</b></li><li><b>Provides other operational/administrative support functions as required.</b></li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Required Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li><b>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree and 12 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
</b></li><li><b>15+ years of progressive experience in data architecture, data modernization, and cloud-based data solutions.</b></li><li><b>Extensive experience implementing solutions with at least one or more of the following: Snowflake, Databricks, and/or SAP data platforms (S/4HANA, Datasphere, etc)</b></li><li><b>Proven experience as a senior data architect or equivalent, with demonstrated leadership on large-scale architecture projects.</b></li><li><b>Proven work experience in designing and implementing complex data architecture, with significant experience in data warehousing, and large-scale data modernization projects.</b></li><li><b>Strong understanding of major cloud platforms and their native data services.</b></li><li><b>Extensive data migration experience from on-prem to cloud systems and cloud to cloud.</b></li><li><b>Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, ERP functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams.</b></li><li><b>Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of presenting architecture decisions to executive leadership.</b></li><li><b>Experience with leading a team and providing technical direction to personnel for a wide variety of projects and initiatives.</b></li><li><b>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</b></li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Desired Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li><b>Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.</b></li><li><b>Experience with SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud), SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), and Integration Suite.</b></li><li><b>Lead architectural decisions around data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Data Lakes, Data Lakehouses, ETL/ELT, streaming architecture)</b></li><li><b>Experience in designing and implementing a comprehensive data catalog to improve data discovery and governance</b></li><li><b>Experience with big data technologies and machine learning concepts.</b></li><li><b>ERP certification or training (e.g., SAP Data Architect, Oracle ERP Cloud, Workday Integration).</b></li><li><b>Experience implementing or supporting data governance programs, especially in ERP environments.</b></li><li><b>Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements relevant to ERP data (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).</b></li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Summary:</b></div><div>
The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for the management of daily tasks required to perform ongoing support of design, construction, startup, and/or operations/ maintenance activities of complex high hazard systems or projects.</div><div><br>
</div><div><b>Duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to:</b></div><ul><li>Renders expert opinions towards Radiation Protection and technical issues, provides recommendations to project design, work control, and construction teams in specific areas of expertise.
</li><li>Provides independent reviews and assessments in areas of specialized expertise and provides guidance to project teams in delivering results on projects of complex, high- technology nature.
</li><li>Interfaces with management personnel and customer representatives.
</li><li>Develops and enforces work standards, assigns schedules, reviews work quality, communicates goals, objectives, and policies of the organization to subordinates.
</li><li>Provides leadership for the project team, coordinates with the functional organizations, and supervises senior personnel within the project organization.</li></ul><div><br>
</div><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in an engineering or technical discipline or combination of education and relevant experience without a degree.</li><li>Eight (8) years of relevant experience, five (5) years of directly applicable experience in Radiation Protection and/or work planning in a DOE Cat 2 nuclear facility.
</li><li>US Nuclear Navy experience, DOE Plutonium facility experience, and strong conduct of operations knowledge highly desired.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
