Work Location:</b> Hybrid-Remote &ndash; On-Site at LANL (TA55 &ndash; PF4)</div><div><b>
Group/Organization:</b> ALDPI/Pi-Proj</div><div><b>
Schedule:</b> 4-12s, but also may be adjusted to align with subcontractor work schedules. (Potential On Call and OT)</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Summary:</b></div><div>
The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for the management of daily tasks required to perform ongoing support of design, construction, startup, and/or operations/ maintenance activities of complex high hazard systems or projects.</div><div><br>
</div><div><b>Duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to:</b></div><ul><li>Renders expert opinions towards Radiation Protection and technical issues, provides recommendations to project design, work control, and construction teams in specific areas of expertise.
</li><li>Provides independent reviews and assessments in areas of specialized expertise and provides guidance to project teams in delivering results on projects of complex, high- technology nature.
</li><li>Interfaces with management personnel and customer representatives.
</li><li>Develops and enforces work standards, assigns schedules, reviews work quality, communicates goals, objectives, and policies of the organization to subordinates.
</li><li>Provides leadership for the project team, coordinates with the functional organizations, and supervises senior personnel within the project organization.</li></ul><div><br>
</div><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in an engineering or technical discipline or combination of education and relevant experience without a degree.</li><li>Eight (8) years of relevant experience, five (5) years of directly applicable experience in Radiation Protection and/or work planning in a DOE Cat 2 nuclear facility.
</li><li>US Nuclear Navy experience, DOE Plutonium facility experience, and strong conduct of operations knowledge highly desired.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

<li>Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE Q Security Clearance.</li><br>
