The TGT Mathematics teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in alignment with the Cambridge International Curriculum, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for global assessments. The teacher is expected to engage students in mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and real-world applications, while adapting to the diverse learning needs of the classroom.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Curriculum Delivery:</li><li>Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons based on the Cambridge Mathematics curriculum for middle school grades (typically classes 6-10).</li><li>Ensure lessons meet the standards of the Cambridge framework, including topics such as number theory, algebra, geometry, and data handling.</li><li>Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance mathematical understanding.</li><li>Student Assessment:</li><li>Regularly assess students&rsquo; understanding and progress through formative and summative assessments.</li><li>Prepare students for Cambridge Checkpoint exams or other relevant international assessments.</li><li>Analyze student performance data to inform instruction and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.</li><li>Classroom Management:</li><li>Maintain a well-managed, inclusive, and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.</li><li>Ensure that all students are actively engaged in the lesson and accommodate varied learning styles and abilities.</li><li>Use differentiated instruction to cater to individual student needs.</li><li>Professional Development:</li><li>Stay updated with changes and advancements in the Cambridge curriculum.</li><li>Attend professional development workshops and training to improve teaching practices and subject knowledge.</li><li>Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in cross-curricular activities.</li><li>Student Support:</li><li>Provide additional support to students who are struggling with mathematical concepts.</li><li>Offer remedial classes or one-on-one tutoring sessions when needed.</li><li>Foster a growth mindset and encourage students to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Collaboration:</li><li>Work collaboratively with colleagues, school management, and parents to support students' academic and emotional development.</li><li>Participate in school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities as required.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.</li><li>B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.</li><li>Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of the subject matter and teaching pedagogy.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Skills and Competencies:<ul><li>Proficiency in mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques.</li><li>Ability to teach using various educational technologies.</li><li>Strong classroom management skills.</li><li>Ability to engage and motivate students.</li><li>Passion for education and dedication to student success.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;35,000.00 per monthExperience:<ul><li>Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
