Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic English Tutor to inspire learners of all ages and backgrounds to develop their language skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students&rsquo; lives through dynamic teaching methods and personalized support.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop customized curriculum plans that align with students&rsquo; individual needs, goals, and proficiency levels in English.</li><li>Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching techniques, including multimedia tools and interactive activities.</li><li>Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a respectful, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.</li><li>Incorporate technology and digital resources to enhance literacy education and facilitate remote or hybrid learning sessions.</li><li>Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and feedback sessions; adjust lesson plans accordingly.</li><li>Support students with special educational needs by applying appropriate accommodations and instructional strategies.</li><li>Foster strong relationships with students by providing encouragement, constructive feedback, and cultural sensitivity&mdash;especially when working with children or diverse populations such as Mandarin, French, Japanese, or other language speakers.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior classroom experience in early childhood education, preschool settings, or literacy education is highly desirable.</li><li>Demonstrated success in tutoring or teaching English as a second language (ESL), including working with children or students with special educational needs.</li><li>Knowledge of curriculum development principles and lesson planning techniques tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels.</li><li>Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital tools used for online or blended instruction.</li><li>Experience working with diverse populations, including multilingual learners who speak Mandarin, French, Japanese or other languages.</li><li>Strong writing skills for creating clear instructional materials and assessments.</li><li>Passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment that promotes literacy and language acquisition.
