The <b>Substitute Teacher</b> plays an essential role in the classroom by providing educational, social, and emotional development for all students by following the program standards of Educare of Omaha, Early Head Start, Sixpence, Nebraska Department of Education, and NAEYC.The Substitute Teacher enhances student learning during the period of absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher is responsible for maintaining the program&rsquo;s educational requirement as well as meeting the children&rsquo;s individual needs.</div></div><div></div><div><p><b><br>
Schedule: </b>Temporary Full-time and Temporary Part-time (8-40 hours per week)</p><ul><li>

The <b>Certified Substitute Lead Teacher</b> provides instructional and classroom management support for absent teachers, implementing lesson plans, maintaining order, and ensuring student learning continues. They are responsible for the planning, implementation and coordination of a comprehensive education program. The Certified Substitute Lead Teacher ensures the education program is developmentally appropriate and meets children&rsquo;s individual needs as well as program standards of Educare of Omaha Inc., Head Start/Early Head Start, Sixpence, and the Nebraska state licensing guidelines.</p><p><b>
Schedule: </b>Part/Full Time (20-40 hours per week). The schedule will need to be set to align with the instructional needs of the classroom. Willingness to cover long/short term assignments.</p><p></p><ul><li><br>

In the absence of the Lead Teacher, the Associate Teacher takes responsibility for the management of the classroom.</p><p><b>
