The Substitute Teacher plays an essential role in the classroom by providing educational, social, and emotional development for all students by following the program standards of Educare of Omaha, Early Head Start, Sixpence, Nebraska Department of Education, and NAEYC.The Substitute Teacher enhances student learning during the period of absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher is responsible for maintaining the program&rsquo;s educational requirement as well as meeting the children&rsquo;s individual needs.</p><div></div><div><br>

The <b>Lead Teacher</b> is responsible for the planning, implementation and coordination of a comprehensive education program. The Lead Teacher ensures the education program is developmentally appropriate and meets children&rsquo;s individual needs as well as program standards of Educare of Omaha Inc., Head Start/Early Head Start, Sixpence, and the Nebraska state licensing guidelines.</p><p><b>
Schedule: </b>Full Time (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday); 12 Months.<b> </b>There is a variation of schedules available with the hours falling between 7:00am-5:30pm.</p><p></p><ul><li><br>

A CDA (Child Development Associate) Certification will be required to be attained within 12 months of hire if the bachelor&rsquo;s degree is not in Early Childhood Education.</li></ul></li><li>

The <b>Associate Teacher</b> works cooperatively with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement the daily education program for the children. Under the supervision of the School Director or MTS (dependent on location) and guidance of the Lead Teacher, the Associate Teacher will ensure the education program is developmentally appropriate meeting the individual needs of children as well as program standards of Educare of Omaha, Inc., Head Start/Early Head Start, Sixpence, and the Nebraska state licensing guidelines. In the absence of the Lead Teacher, the Associate Teacher takes responsibility for the management of the classroom.</p><p><b>
