The Branch Universal Representative 30+ (30-39 hours weekly) assists new and existing members, in person and on the telephone, with all their financial needs, including teller transactions, member service, and loans. Duties will include opening and closing various types of accounts, processing transactions, resolving account problems, as well as providing assistance and information regarding all products and services of the Credit Union.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Performs all teller functions, including deposits, withdrawal and loan payments, money orders, cashier's checks, transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records. Balance cash drawer and daily transactions ensuring accuracy.</li><li>
Greet members, in person and on the telephone while providing them with routine information concerning services. Assists members with opening and closing accounts, completing payroll deductions, direct transfers and direct deposit authorizations, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems. Perform account and file maintenance, check orders, wire transfers and all other aspects of service to our members. Actively promote marketing campaigns.</li><li>
Identify opportunities to educate, advise, and identify product referral opportunities. Interview members, receive loan applications and process new loans. Educate and advise member to make informed decision about their accounts to ensure our members are meeting their financial and member account information is accurate and current. Answering the phone queue to assist members on the phone, as well as in person.</li><li>

Knowledge and Skills:</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Experience:</b> One year to three years of similar or related experience.</div><div>
Education: A high school education or GED.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Interpersonal Skills: </b>Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion,</div><div>
requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Other Skills: </b>Working knowledge of established procedures, policies, processes, etc.; understanding of credit union operations; effectively communicates information to members, etc. General equipment knowledge, e.g., computer, etc.</div><div></div><p><br>
Beloit Branch is located at 1154 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI 53511. Lobby hours: Monday -Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday-Closed. Drive Up hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m. &ndash; 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. &ndash; 12:00 p.m.<br>

If you are a high school student interested in career development, enjoy helping people, and want hands-on experience in both banking and marketing, the High School Teller &amp; Marketing Ambassador Youth Apprentice position at Educators Credit Union may be the perfect fit for you.</p><p>
Youth Apprentices serve as the face of Educators Credit Union in two important spaces: their home branch and their high school branch. In this role, students gain real-world experience by supporting members with everyday financial transactions while also acting as brand ambassadors who help promote the credit union through events, campaigns, and peer engagement.</p><p>
This position is ideal for students who are professional, dependable, comfortable speaking in front of others, and excited to represent Educators Credit Union within their school and community.</p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Welcome members and provide friendly, professional service.</li><li>
Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.</li><li>
Balance cash drawer and complete daily transactions accurately.</li><li>
Share information about credit union products and services and refer members as needed.</li><li>
Serve as a Marketing Ambassador by helping plan, promote, and execute campaigns.</li><li>
Represent Educators Credit Union at school and community events, including tabling and presentations.</li><li>
Engage confidently with peers, staff, and community members.</li><li>
Complete additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>

Education &amp; Program Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
Must be a Junior or Senior during the 2026&ndash;2027 school year.</li><li>
Must be enrolled in a High School Youth Apprenticeship program with early release.</li><li>
Ability to provide reliable personal transportation to and from assigned work locations.</li></ul><p>
