We combine technology, creativity, and educational expertise to make learning more effective and exciting for students across India.Role OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and energetic HR Executive (Generalist) who will be responsible for end-to-end HR functions with a focus on recruitment, candidate engagement, and team support. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats &mdash; from managing HR processes to supporting content marketing initiatives and being active on LinkedIn for employer branding.Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment &amp; Onboarding<ul><li>Assist in the full recruitment cycle &mdash; from job postings and shortlisting candidates to scheduling interviews and managing communications.</li><li>Maintain candidate databases and ensure timely follow-ups.</li><li>Coordinate and assist with smooth onboarding for new hires.</li></ul>2. HR Operations<ul><li>Maintain employee records, attendance, and documentation.</li><li>Assist in drafting HR policies, letters, and other formal communications.</li><li>Support employee engagement initiatives and team events.</li></ul>3. Employer Branding &amp; Social Media<ul><li>Actively post and engage on LinkedIn to promote Edzy&rsquo;s brand and job openings.</li><li>Share company culture updates, achievements, and thought leadership content.</li></ul>4. Your work will directly influence how millions of students learn every day.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate high-quality animations for:<ul><li>App feature walkthroughs, UI navigation, and micro-interactions</li><li>Mascots, characters, avatars, and expressive reactions</li><li>Academic concepts, learning modules, and interactive illustrations</li><li>Onboarding experiences, progress animations, badges, XP, rewards, and in-app events</li><li>Marketing visuals, social media creatives, and brand-driven animations</li></ul>Additional responsibilities:<ul><li>Design characters, objects, icons, and brand assets from scratch when required</li><li>Bring static illustrations to life through smooth, thoughtful motion</li><li>Export and optimize animations for use in mobile apps (Lottie/json, GIF, MP4, Rive, Spline, etc.)</li><li>Collaborate with designers, product managers, and content teams to ensure animations align with Edzy&rsquo;s brand and learning goals</li><li>Produce daily or near-daily animation outputs aligned with the team&rsquo;s roadmap</li><li>Maintain consistency, attention to detail, and a mature design aesthetic</li><li>Stay updated on animation trends and best-in-class motion design practices</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Software ExpertiseMust-have expertise:<ul><li>Adobe After Effects (advanced-level)</li><li>Character rigging and character animation</li><li>Motion graphics for UI/UX</li><li>Designing and animating 2D objects, icons, and modular illustrations</li><li>Ability to work with storyboards and convert them into polished animations</li><li>Experience exporting animations for mobile/React/Next.js environments</li></ul>Bonus skills (preferred but not mandatory):<ul><li>Lottie / Bodymovin exports (JSON)</li><li>Rive animations (state machines, interactions)</li><li>Spline 3D animations</li><li>Adobe Illustrator / Figma for asset creation</li><li>Sound design basics for motion assets (syncing/ambient sounds)</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of experience creating animations for apps, games, ed-tech, or brand-driven projects</li><li>Strong sense of timing, easing, movement, and visual storytelling</li><li>Ability to adapt animation style: playful, academic, clean, or brand-centric</li><li>Comfortable working with rapid turnarounds and daily animation delivery</li><li>Portfolio demonstrating character animation, UI motion, and app-ready assets</li><li>A mature, thoughtful, professional approach to feedback and collaborative workflows</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Flexible, remote work on a freelance / project basis</li><li>A chance to build animations that impact millions of learners</li><li>Creative freedom + structured collaboration with the design &amp; product teams</li><li>Opportunities to work across diverse animation formats (Lottie, Rive, Spline, app motion)</li><li>Potential for long-term engagement based on performance and consistency</li></ul>Job Type: Freelance Contract length: 3 monthsPay: &#8377;10,000.00 per monthWork Location: Remote
