Overview:Join a premier MEP-focused construction firm with a strong presence on a national scale, specializing in complex plumbing and piping projects. We are seeking a skilled BIM Piping Detailer to create detailed, constructible models that support project teams throughout the design, construction, and installation phases. This role will be integral to the success of large-scale MEP projects across various sectors, including commercial and institutional construction.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop constructible models for DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent), mechanical piping, plumbing, and process piping systems.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams, including project managers, field supervision, fabrication teams, and field installation teams.</li><li>Attend coordination meetings with clients and provide technical support to ensure smooth project execution.</li><li>Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless design integration.</li><li>Prepare finalized models for fabrication spooling and generate shop drawings for field installations.</li><li>Create TFL files for field layout and assist with the creation of Revit families as needed.</li><li>Uphold high standards of quality in all deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Seeking entry, mid &amp; senior level candidates</li><li>Strong proficiency in Navisworks, Revit, and AutoCAD.</li><li>Must have exposure in either piping or plumbing</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction documents and participate in BIM coordination processes.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>MEP detailer: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Houston, TX 77029 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
