<p><b>Role Overview</b>
</p><p>We are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in <b>vehicle body structure design and vehicle integration </b>to support the development of next-generation electric vehicles. The role involves detailed design, packaging, and integration of body and structural systems, working closely with vehicle architecture, CAE, manufacturing, and supplier teams.</p>
<p>This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting electric vehicle development programs from concept through production.</p>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<div><div><ul><li>Design and develop vehicle body and structural components using <b>SolidWorks and/or PTC Creo</b>.</li>
<li>Own detailed CAD development for BIW / body structure parts including brackets, reinforcements, mounts, and interfaces.</li>
<li>Perform vehicle-level packaging and <b>system integration across body, chassis, battery, powertrain, and electrical domains.</b></li>
<li>Manage interfaces, tolerances, GD&amp;T, and assembly feasibility.</li>
<li>Release 2D drawings with proper standards, notes, and manufacturing intent.</li>
<li>Work closely with CAE teams for structural, crash, and durability feedback and iterate designs accordingly.</li>
<li>Support prototype builds, design reviews, issue resolution, and design updates through development phases.</li>
<li>Coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA).</li>
<li>Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and configuration control.</li>

</div></div><p><b>Required Skills &amp; Experience</b></p>
<div><div><ul><li>5&ndash;10 years of experience in <b>automotive body structure design and vehicle integration</b>.</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience with <b>SolidWorks and/or PTC Creo</b>.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of:
<ul><li>Vehicle body architecture and structural load paths</li>
<li>Packaging, clearance, and interface management</li>
<li>Sheet metal and structural part design</li>
<li>GD&amp;T and automotive drawing standards</li>
</ul></li><li>Experience in <b>EV or vehicle development programs</b> is preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a cross-functional engineering environment with CAE, manufacturing, and suppliers.</li>
<li>Good communication and documentation skills.</li>
</ul>

<div><div><ul><li>Experience with BIW, closures, underbody, or battery enclosure structures.</li>
<li>Exposure to crash, durability, or stiffness-driven design loops.</li>
<li>Experience supporting prototype builds or pilot production.</li>
