 Chemicals is an extremely important large and fragmented market with multiple inefficiencies in cross border trade. The global speciality chemicals market is $800bn growing at a CAGR of 5.7%. The industry faces glaring challenges including lack of trust, excessive lead times, quality uncertainty, lack of transparency and tons of operational challenges.
 
 
 In the past 20 months of the company's operation, we have scaled up our operations serving in more than 32 countries and have active partnerships with more than 100s of customers and suppliers. The company has raised a total of upwards of $7.5mn from marquee investors like InfoEdge Ventures and Prime Venture.
 
 
 
 
 
 Our highly ambitious team comprises alumni from IITs, IIMs, NITs and have extensive experience of working in startups as well as multinational companies.  Roles and Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Generate new business opportunities for Elchemys products &amp; services for the US market focusing on the Personal Care and Flavors and Fragrance Industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate high-quality leads through cold-calling, cold emailing, attending physical &amp; virtual conferences, social media outreach etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Qualify inbound and outbound leads, determining their potential to convert into sales opportunities. Assess client needs and identify opportunities for chemical solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and opportunities, ensuring regular follow-up and consistent communication with prospects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with the sales team, product managers, and marketing department to align lead generation efforts with company objectives and campaigns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure customer satisfaction by being process oriented, with operational efficiency and excellent communication skills
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 This role is pivotal in driving Elchemys growth in the US market, ensuring a strong foothold in the Personal Care, Flavors &amp; Fragrance sectors, and achieving long-term business success.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills and Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3+ years' experience in sales/business development in B2B sector in international markets
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience of International Sales in the US Market is plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Should have an excellent verbal communication &amp; presentation skill
 </li>
 <li>
 Should have an excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
 </li>
 <li>
 Should have an ability to work in high-energy, fast-paced cross-functional teams. Should have an entrepreneurial bent of mind, strong business acumen and good network.
 </li>
