As an expanding company in the exciting world of slot car racing and collectibles, we are continuously adapting and evolving our positions to meet new challenges and opportunities in this specialized market.The ideal candidate will be a multi-talented individual with a strong background in e-commerce, content creation, and digital marketing who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for managing our online presence, from product photography and website management to live broadcasting and graphic design. The Media Manager will play a key role in shaping our brand's visual identity and driving online engagement and sales within the slot car enthusiast community and beyond.As part of our collaborative team culture, this position requires flexibility to work in both our retail store environment and remotely, with domestic and international travel as needed. The role involves a standard Monday-Friday schedule (9 AM - 5 PM) with occasional Weekend work, special events, and extended hours during long weekends.Responsibilities<ul><li>Shopify Store Management:</li><li>Manage and maintain our Shopify-based online store, including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment.</li><li>Optimize the website for user experience and conversion rates.</li><li>Implement and manage website updates, promotions, and new features.</li><li>Product Photography and Videography:</li><li>Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality product photos and videos for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials.</li><li>Operate and maintain camera equipment, lighting, and other studio gear.</li><li>Develop and maintain a consistent visual style for all product imagery.</li><li>Live YouTube Broadcasting:</li><li>Plan, produce, and host live broadcasts on our YouTube channel, including product demonstrations, Q&amp;A sessions, and other engaging content.</li><li>Manage all technical aspects of live streaming, including camera setup, audio, and streaming software.</li><li>Engage with our audience in real-time and build a strong online community.</li><li>Graphic and Web Design:</li><li>Create compelling visual assets for our website, social media, email marketing, and other digital channels.</li><li>Design and develop new web pages and landing pages as needed.</li><li>Ensure all visual content aligns with our brand guidelines and aesthetic.</li><li>Social Media Management and Reporting:</li><li>Develop and execute social media strategies across all platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.</li><li>Create, schedule, and publish engaging content on social media channels.</li><li>Monitor social media performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.</li><li>Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms in a timely manner.</li><li>Analyze social media trends and competitor activities to inform strategy adjustments.</li><li>Retail Store Operations:</li><li>Support in-store visual merchandising and product displays.</li><li>Capture behind-the-scenes content and customer interactions for social media use.</li><li>Coordinate with store staff to ensure consistent brand presentation across all touchpoints.</li><li>Assist with retail operations when needed, including customer service and sales support.</li><li>Adapt to changing business needs and take on additional responsibilities as the company grows.</li></ul>Required QualificationsEducation and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Photography, or related field preferred</li><li>Portfolio showcasing expertise in product photography, videography, graphic design, and web design</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>E-commerce Platform Management: Proficiency with Shopify, product management, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment</li><li>Photography and Videography: Advanced skills in product photography, lighting techniques, and video production</li><li>Camera Equipment: Experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, professional lighting equipment, and studio setup</li><li>Design Software: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent software</li><li>Web Design: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles</li><li>Live Streaming: Experience with YouTube Live, OBS Studio, or similar broadcasting software</li><li>SEO experience</li><li>Experience with additional e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce)</li><li>Knowledge of social media marketing and content strategy</li><li>Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo)</li><li>Basic understanding of paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads)</li><li>Experience with video editing software beyond basic level</li><li>Knowledge of color theory, typography, and design principles</li><li>Previous experience in retail or product-based businesses</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to company
