</h1>EPRI is seeking a motivated entry-level professional to support its Chemistry, Fuels, and High-Level Waste programs. This role combines project management and data science expertise to contribute to both commercial nuclear power plant and research initiatives. The ideal candidate is expected to work and succeed in a collaborative environment, demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, and be eager to grow within the EPRI nuclear energy sector. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Conduct independent research and manage small-scale projects under the guidance of technical leads
</li><li>Perform data analysis with minimal supervision to support research and operational goals
</li><li>Assist in technical literature reviews and data gathering to inform project decisions
</li><li>Collaborate with technical leads and managers to assess member and program needs, aid in the preparation of proposals, assist in the authoring of publications, assist in managing projects, and deliver presentations
</li><li>Provide insights into optimizing departmental data platforms, including Wiki-style pages, databases, and modeling/coding tools
</li><li>Foster cross-functional relationships within the Fuel&ndash;Chemistry program to support a team integrated work scope
</li><li>Assist in organizing and executing technical conferences and workshops
</li><li>This role requires travel up to 10&ndash;20% of the time, including occasional domestic trips for meetings, training sessions, or project-related activities. Please note: Travel requirements for this role may fluctuate based on business needs, project demands, or team priorities

Preferred Skills &amp; Qualifications:
<ul><li>A strong foundation in chemistry, radiation protection, or radioactive waste is preferred.
</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders. 
</li></ul> 
Experience, Knowledge &amp; Skills:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a technical field relevant to nuclear energy, chemistry, or data science
</li><li>Master's Degree in Nuclear Energy, chemistry or data science preferred
</li><li>2+ years of experience within Nuclear Industry preferred
</li><li>Completion of a nuclear industry internship within the past two years is preferred
</li><li>Ability to develop project scopes and manage less-complex initiatives
</li><li>Effective communicator with a passion for learning and contributing to impactful work
</li></ul>The salary range for this position is $82,500 USD to $89,500 USD annually.
This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This role is eligible to participate in EPRI&rsquo;s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
This role is eligible to participate in EPRI&rsquo;s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).
EPRI participates in E-Verify, an online system operated jointly by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration (SSA). EPRI uses the system to check the work status of new hires by comparing information from the employee's I-9 form against SSA and Department of Homeland Security databases.
