Who are we looking for?</b></h2></div><div><p>
Based in Waterbury, CT, the candidate will work within a global team of R&amp;D scientists and Applications Engineers, in coordination with Business Unit leaders, Sales, and Development partners. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing New Product Development projects related to Circuit Formation, Final Finish, and Metallization, and for delivering high-quality services to internal and external customers within budget and in accordance with defined plans.</p></div></div><p></p><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
What will you be doing?</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
As an R&amp;D Project manager, you will be responsible for specific New Product Development Projects supported in our Circuitry Solutions Laboratories.</li><li>
The role requires you to work both on strategic goals as well as project goals and coordinate the global Circuitry Solutions application engineering activities accordingly.</li><li>
In this role, you will be expected to add value through management by understanding well the different application processes involved in Circuitry Solutions.</li><li>
Scoping, timing, costing and risk management of projects are duties which are relevant to this position.</li><li>
Overall responsibility for the planning and management of internal and external projects related to the development of Electronics Advance Interconnect Solutions with a focus on Circuitry Solutions.</li><li>
Responsibility for assembling project teams, defining schedules, tracking technical activities, and generating project progress reports.</li><li>
Work on a global level with R&amp;D teams (US, Europe, Asia), internal stakeholders, to ensure the relevant expertise is employed in defining, planning and executing projects.</li><li>
Carry out cost, time and resource planning for the projects, assess project risks and define countermeasures.</li><li>
Work in a team of intracompany Project Managers to develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio management processes.</li><li>
Work closely with Line of Business Project Managers, Product Managers, as well as Manufacturing and Quality to ensure continuous alignment and up-to-date information flow.</li><li>
Support the design of internal processes and the optimization of project management methods.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Who are You?</b></h2></div><div><ul><li><div>
B.Sc degree in Material Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or other related technical discipline; MS strongly preferred.</div></li><li>
Be capable to manage complex projects and be able to employ different management concepts such as Agile, Waterfall and others as needed. Relevant Project Management training (PMP/CSM/CPMP or similar) strongly preferred.</li><li>
Experience in management of Technology-Oriented Projects and/or work experience in the field of Electronics.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What competencies will you need?</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Be capable to manage complex projects and be able to employ different management concepts such as Agile, Waterfall and others as needed. Relevant Project Management training (PMP/CSM/CPMP or similar) should be demonstrated.</li><li>

Confident and purposeful approach, paired with strong communication skills and social skills.</li><li>

Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio, MS Projects and similar.</li><li>

The typical base salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $92,402 and $138,604 annually.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
