While your primary focus is React Native, experience with native iOS will give you an edge, since we deliver projects across both native and cross-platform.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Together with your team, you build a variety of brand new mobile applications. You collaborate with colleagues to make estimates and define architecture, as well as shape the project structure. You embrace our way of working, while also suggesting improvements to make it even better. You think with the client and bring the commercial perspective to the development process. You have genuine curiosity for your field, staying up to speed with the latest innovations and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements 
WHAT YOU BRING

You&rsquo;re someone who communicates clearly in English and can easily connect with colleagues and clients alike. With a proactive mindset and an open, collaborative attitude, you thrive in team environments and enjoy finding solutions together. You&rsquo;re curious by nature, quick to learn new skills and genuinely enjoy the variety of working on different types of projects. Frequent changes don't phase you; instead, you embrace an adaptive approach to evolving priorities. On top of that, you bring a healthy sense of commercial awareness, allowing you to balance technical excellence with the bigger picture of delivering value. 
Your tech skills and experience:<ul><li>
4-5 years of professional experience with React Native, including hands-on project work</li><li>
At least 6 years of general development experience (e.g. TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), frontend React, React Native, and/or native mobile with Kotlin/Swift)</li><li>
Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines</li><li>
Commitment to building apps with strong accessibility support (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, etc.)</li><li>
Experienced in Unit and E2E testing (we use XCTest, Jest, Maestro)</li><li>
Hands-on experience bringing mobile to production with CI/CD</li><li>
Experience working with native modules and APIs and integrating them into React Native projects</li><li>
Ability to define app architecture design</li></ul>

Strong Medior/Senior React Native Developer

<div>About Elements Elements is building a foundational platform to automate and connect high-stakes finance workflows. We are in advanced beta, live with early customers, and preparing for a full production launch. The product is already operating in demanding, real-world environments. This is a rare moment to join early with real traction and low execution risk. We are well funded, actively used by multiple customers, and seeing strong inbound demand as we prepare to scale.
The Opportunity We are hiring a Senior Forward-Deployed Engineer as a foundational team member. This fully remote role sits at the technical-forward intersection of engineering and customer delivery: you will spend your time building production-grade integrations and custom workflows that embed Elements into our customers' core systems. You will work directly with the founders and enterprise clients to ensure our platform delivers immediate, high-stakes value in the field.
What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>
Partner directly with enterprise finance teams to translate complex operational challenges into working technical solutions.</li><li>
Design and ship production-quality connectors between Elements and customer systems using Java (Spring Boot) and React.</li><li>
Act as the &quot;voice of the customer&quot; for the engineering team, turning field insights into core product features.</li><li>
Build scalable, observable workflows that prioritize security, performance, and long-term stability.</li><li>
Collaborate closely with founders and core engineers in a high-autonomy environment.</li><li>
Establish delivery best practices and integration playbooks as the team grows.</li></ul>
Who We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>
Strong engineering foundation with a track record of building and scaling production systems.</li><li>
Strong functional background in finance or accounting - ideally a CPA or a Bachelor&rsquo;s in Finance - to bridge the gap between technical code and complex financial workflows.</li><li>
Ability to navigate complex enterprise environments and turn ambiguous requirements into technical architecture.</li><li>
Deep understanding of application architecture, system design, and API patterns.</li><li>
Ownership mindset with experience in zero-to-one or customer-facing engineering environments.</li><li>
Technical judgment to balance shipping high-impact solutions with maintaining engineering standards.</li><li>
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, or similar technologies.</li></ul>
