Virtual: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

The Pharmacist Consultant is responsible for supporting disease management programs and physicians care plans through drug therapy evaluation and consultation for program participants.
How you will make an impact:<ul><li>
Process 40-70 calls per day (inbound and outbound) using a dialer system.</li><li>
Provides evaluation of member Rx needs and therapies through review of medication history to determine if medications are appropriate.</li><li>
Assesses member compliance with plan through direct contact with members and their physicians.</li><li>
Determines potential barriers to compliance and identifies solutions to overcome barriers.</li><li>
Ensures that members understand appropriate use of current prescriptions.</li><li>
Reviews medications with physicians when therapies do not meet national standards and counsels physicians around alternative medications.</li><li>
Serves as a resource to the clinical team in disease management and other clinical areas.</li></ul>
Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>
Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.</li><li>
Current valid active and unrestrictive RPh license required.</li></ul>
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
<ul><li>PharmD.</li><li>
Direct patient counseling experience highly preferred.</li><li>
Call center experience highly preferred.</li><li>
MTM experience highly preferred.</li></ul>
