<div>We are seeking a friendly and organized Optometry Clinic Receptionist to join our team and be the welcoming face of our clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and efficient experience. Teamwork is at the heart of our clinic's success, and we are looking for a receptionist who can contribute to our collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities: 


Patient Scheduling, Registration and Service:
<ul>
<li>Greet patients, by phone and in person, warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere in the clinic.</li>
<li>Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, scheduling and reminding of patient appointments, and addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.</li>
<li>Coordinate and manage the appointment schedule for optometrists and other clinic staff.</li>
<li>Collect and verify insurance coverage ensuring the collection and storage of all proper patient billing information.</li>
<li>Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history along with providing the necessary education on the necessary forms and documents needed for their visit.</li>
<li>Provide basic information to patients about clinic procedures, policies and services</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and complete entry of patient data into the clinic's electronic records system.</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling patient information.</li>
<li>Assist in patient product ordering and dispensing as needed</li>
<li>Uphold the clinic's standards of customer service and ethical conduct.</li></ul> 


Administrative / Clinic Support: 

<ul>
<li>Assist with administrative tasks and operational support, including but not limited to, filing, emailing, order placement, payment and data entry.</li>
<li>Collaborate with all staff members to maintain an organized and efficient clinic environment.</li>
<li>Work closely with optometrists, opticians, optometric technicians, and other clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively to relay important information and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
</ul><ul><li>Strong customer service skills focused on communication, listening and supporting a team based environment</li>
<li>Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Proficiency in using office equipment and computer systems.</li>
<li>Willingness to embrace new technology and change</li></ul>
