Position Summary: The HR Generalist will support various HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, employee training, and maintaining personnel records. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of handling multiple tasks, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.Key Responsibilities:&middot; Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, and other required and compliance training. Conduct employment verification and background screenings.&middot; Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.&middot; Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications&middot; Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.&middot; Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring to complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.&middot; Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.&middot; Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.&middot; Miscellaneous tasks assigned by management.Qualifications:&middot; Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)&middot; Minimum of 2 year of experience in HR or administrative support role.&middot; Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., Paylocity) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).&middot; Strong organizational and time management skills.&middot; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.&middot; Workplace safety enforcement&middot; Knowledge of employment law&middot; Bilingual SpanishJob Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Irvine, CA 92614 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
