SuperintendentCustom Residential Construction | Renovations, ADUs, Custom HomesThe OpportunityThis is a field-forward leadership role for a highly skilled finish carpenter who knows custom residential work inside and out. You will run projects day to day, manage trades and clients, and step in hands-on when the job calls for it.This is not commercial construction. It is not production housing. This is detail-driven, client-facing, high-quality residential work.Long term, this role can grow into a Project Manager position for the right person.What You&rsquo;ll Be DoingProject Execution<ul><li>Oversee residential renovation, ADU, and custom home projects from active build through closeout</li><li>Maintain schedules, scopes, and daily progress in coordination with ownership</li><li>Perform jobsite walkthroughs, quality checks, and inspections</li><li>Step in hands-on as needed, especially on finish work and problem areas</li></ul>Subcontractor &amp; Trade Management<ul><li>Coordinate and manage subcontractors and specialty trades</li><li>Hold quality standards and sequence work correctly</li><li>Identify issues early and resolve them before they affect schedule or client trust</li></ul>Client &amp; Communication Management<ul><li>Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for homeowners</li><li>Provide clear project updates and set expectations</li><li>Represent the company professionally at all times</li></ul>Quality &amp; Detail<ul><li>Maintain a high bar for finish quality, alignment, fit, and overall craftsmanship</li><li>Catch small issues before they become expensive ones</li><li>Protect the long-term reputation of the company on every project</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForRequired Experience<ul><li>5+ years in custom residential construction</li><li>Strong background as a skilled carpenter, with emphasis on finish carpentry</li><li>Proven experience on renovations, ADUs, and custom homes</li><li>Direct experience managing subs, schedules, and homeowners</li></ul>This Role Is a Fit If You<ul><li>Care deeply about quality and details</li><li>Can lead without ego and communicate clearly</li><li>Are comfortable being less hands-on day to day, but capable of stepping in when needed</li><li>Want to grow into a Project Manager role over time</li></ul>This Role Is Not a Fit If You<ul><li>Come primarily from commercial construction</li><li>Prefer production or tract home environments</li><li>Avoid client interaction or ownership-level accountability</li></ul>Growth PathThis role sits between a senior carpenter and an Associate Project Manager.
