Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the site maintenance of our Sheffield production facility including breakdowns and servicing.Ideally have experience working on:ConveyorsPumpsExtraction equipmentFork Lift trucksRESPONSIBILITIES:Minimise downtime to the facility by completing scheduled PPM and maintaining records of site equipmentAttend to plant breakdowns and solve/diagnose mechanical and electrical failuresLook after and maintain stock levels of spare partsLiaise with production regarding opportunities to undertake servicing to maximise productivity within the facilityWork in a safe manner and comply with site health and safety rules to ensure own and others safety at all timesSKILLS REQUIRED:MIG Welding/fabrication experience is necessaryIdeally previous experience of working in a Maintenance Engineering role with experience of PPM, fault-finding, and diagnosis of faults.Some electrical knowledge would be an advantagePC LiterateSCHEDULE:8 hour weekday shiftOvertime availableJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From &pound;34,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
