We are seeking a skilled GST Accountant to join our team and manage GST-related responsibilities with precision and expertise.Job SummaryAs a GST Accountant, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including computation, filing, and managing litigations and notices. This role requires a proactive professional with hands-on experience in GST processes within a CA firm. You will work closely with senior accountants and partners to ensure seamless client service and adherence to statutory requirements.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>GST Computation and Filing: Accurately compute GST liabilities, prepare, and file various GST returns (e.g., GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C) for clients within stipulated deadlines. Ensure proper reconciliation of input tax credit (ITC) and maintain compliance with GST regulations.</li><li>GST Litigations and Notices: Handle GST-related notices, assessments, and litigations. Prepare and submit responses to notices issued by GST authorities, represent clients during assessments, and coordinate with legal teams when required.</li><li>GST Compliance: Conduct reconciliations between GSTR-2A/2B and books of accounts, verify ITC claims, and ensure compliance with reverse charge mechanism (RCM) and other GST provisions.</li><li>Client Support: Address client queries related to GST, provide advisory on GST implications for business transactions, and assist in GST registration and cancellation processes.</li><li>Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of GST transactions, filings, and correspondence with authorities for audit purposes.</li><li>Stay Updated: Keep abreast of changes in GST laws, notifications, and circulars to ensure clients receive accurate and up-to-date advice.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to support audits, financial reporting, and other taxation tasks as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>Qualification: B.Com degree or CA Dropout (preferably CA Intermediate/IPCC level).</li><li>Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in a CA firm, specifically handling GST computation, filing, and litigation.</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in GST portal operations, accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks), and MS Excel (advanced functions, VLOOKUP, pivots).</li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate computation and reconciliation.</li><li>Ability to handle GST notices and litigations with confidence and professionalism.</li><li>Strong communication skills to interact with clients and GST authorities.</li><li>Time management skills to meet strict filing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Salary: &#8377;25,000 - &#8377;35,000 per month, based on experience and expertise.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and exposure to diverse GST-related projects.</li><li>Supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork and continuous learning.</li><li>Health insurance, paid leaves, and performance-based incentives.</li></ul>How to ApplyIf you are a dedicated professional with expertise in GST compliance and litigation, we would love to hear from you. This role requires expertise in finance, taxation, auditing, and budgeting within a manufacturing environment. Analyze variances, provide insights to management, and optimize operational costs.</li><li>Inventory and Cost Accounting: Manage inventory valuation, cost accounting for production processes, and analysis of material and labor costs to ensure cost efficiency in manufacturing operations.</li><li>Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Companies Act, SEBI (if applicable), and other relevant laws.
