Reports ToFinance ManagerPurposeElite Co. is searching for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation and recording of financial transactions.</li><li>Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.</li><li>Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.</li><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.</li><li>Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards (IFRS)</li><li>Assist with audits and tax filings.</li><li>Support the budgeting and forecasting process.</li><li>Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems and procedures.</li></ul>About YouEducation and Certification<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, CMA certification preferred but not required.</li></ul>Knowledge and Skills<ul><li>Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, including experience with inventory accounting and cost allocation.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Integra, etc.) and advanced MS Excel skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.</li><li>Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry but not required.</li></ul>About UsWe aim to be one of the most innovative and trusted supply chain partners.
