Retail Security Officer- Bilingual Spanish 
This is a STANDING/WALKING post which requires you to be on your feet while on duty (no chairs or stools). You must be able to work on your feet for extended periods. This post is INSIDE a retail store. 
Location: Dadeland Mall, 7535 N. Kendall Drive, Miami, FL 33156
 Job Summary:
As a Retail Security Officer, you will provide a strong security presence to deter theft, support a safe retail environment, and assist store staff in de-escalating difficult situations. You are expected to remain alert, professional, and tech-savvy throughout your shift. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Greet and acknowledge every customer entering and exiting the store</li><li>
Respond quickly to door alarms and suspicious activity</li><li>
Serve as a visual deterrent to potential shoplifters</li><li>
De-escalate tense or hostile situations with professionalism</li><li>
Remain alert &mdash; no socializing, no use of personal devices</li><li>
Complete reports using smartphones, iPads, or store applications</li></ul> 
Ideal Candidate Qualities:<ul><li>
Able to stand/walk for long periods of time without sitting</li><li>
Maintains professional standards &mdash; no unnecessary conversation or distractions</li><li>
Comfortable handling difficult personalities or situations in a calm manner</li><li>
Tech-proficient &mdash; familiar with iPhones, iPads, and reporting apps</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li></ul> 
Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>
Valid Florida D Security License</li><li>
Must speak English and Spanish</li><li>
Previous experience in loss prevention, bouncer, or retail preferred</li><li>
Must be able to work shifts Wednesday through Sunday during retail hours (anytime between 10am-10pm)</li></ul> 
Compensation: Compensation for this role is set and is not subject to negotiation.
