The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in inventory planning, stock level management, and retail compliance, ensuring optimal product availability while minimizing overstock and shortages. Strong English communication skills are required.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage purchasing activities for products sold through large chain retailers (Walmart, Costco, Target, Home Depot, and similar accounts)</li><li>Monitor and analyze inventory levels, sell-through data, forecasts, and replenishment needs</li><li>Ensure optimal stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations and excess inventory</li><li>Coordinate with sales, logistics, and production teams to align purchasing with demand forecasts</li><li>Prepare and submit purchase orders; track orders to ensure timely delivery</li><li>Maintain compliance with retailer requirements, routing guides, packaging standards, and lead times</li><li>Analyze sales trends and seasonal demand to support buying decisions</li><li>Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and lead-time negotiations</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve inventory turnover and cost efficiency</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent, Buyer, or Inventory Manager.</li><li>Direct experience working with major big-box retailers (Walmart, Costco, Target, Home Depot required).</li><li>Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock replenishment, forecasting, and demand planning.</li><li>Experience using inventory management systems, ERP software, and Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple SKUs and high-volume accounts.</li><li>Fluent in English (spoken and written).</li><li>Strong communication and negotiation skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Experience with EDI systems and retailer portals. (preferred).</li><li>Understanding of chargebacks, compliance requirements, and retail scorecards. (preferred).</li><li>Experience in consumer goods, wholesale, or manufacturing environments.
