The System Layout Designer will focus on crafting detailed layouts using specialized design tools, ensuring precision in both analog and integrated circuit (IC) layouts. Day-to-day tasks include utilizing layout design and CAD tools to develop and refine system layouts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency throughout the design process.System layout designer - mid - levelAccountabilities &amp; Responsibilities-Incorporate changes to layouts as directed by senior members of the team-Documentation generation &ndash; bill of materials (bom), pdfs. dwfs. etc-Layout install sheets creation &ndash; viewports, dimensions, callouts-Importing files from design and simulation-Exporting files to design and simulation-Autocad - must be proficient in basic functions.-Autodesk inventor experience required.-Solidworks experience recommended.experience &ndash; work/software-3+ yrs. autocad minimum required-Factorycad experience is a plus-Autodesk inventor or 3d design software experience is a plus-Proficiency in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, excel, word, etc.)-Demonstrates efficient written and oral communication skills-High school diploma, college is a plus, not required.-Consistent attendance-Works well with a team-Open to constructive criticism-Self-motivated &amp; a critical thinkerLocation-In office &ndash; Macomb, mi-or other local customer office&rsquo;sElite robotics employee perks-Competitive salary-Excellent benefits &amp; 401k-Paid vacationJob Types: Full-time, ContractBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Overtime</li><li>Weekends as needed</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>50% (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Multiple locationsJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: Hybrid remote in Macomb, MI 48042
