<div><b>Physician &ndash; Prenatal Care Provider</b></div>
<div></div><div><b>Full Position Title: Physician &ndash; Prenatal Care Provider (Holy Family Prenatal Care)</b></div>

<div><b>Department: Holy Family Prenatal Care</b></div>

</div><div></div><div>Provides medical care related to pregnancy and childbirth. Oversees patient care throughout their pregnancy and determines appropriate care, testing, and necessary procedures. Diagnoses risk and refers to other physicians as necessary.</div>
<div></div><div>The Physician at Holy Family Prenatal Care is responsible to provide medical care to patients throughout their pregnancy. The Physician determines the appropriate care, testing, and necessary procedures according to patient need. They diagnose risk and determine when referral to other care providers is necessary. The Physician also directs the other medical professionals in the performance of their duties.</div>

</ul><h6 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Primary Duties
</b></h6><div><b>Essential Functions:</b></div>
<ul><li>Provide prenatal care according to current standard of care- including physical exams, on-going follow-up visits, interpretation of lab/test results and treatment of common GYN conditions/infections in pregnancy.</li>
<li>Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.</li>
<li>Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods until released from obstetrical care.</li>
<li>Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.</li>
<li>Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment.</li>
<li>Explain medical procedures or test results to patients and family members.</li>
<li>Advise patients concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention during pregnancy.</li>
<li>Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary.</li>
<li>Supervise patient care personnel</li>

<ul><li>Assist in determining direction for HFPC to advance patient care and other initiatives.</li>
<li>Train staff in appropriate topics such as Natural Family Planning, Contraception Information, and other appropriate topics as requested by Executive Director.</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Policy Development and Documentation</b></div>
 <ul><li>Periodic review and implement policies pertaining to medical practices/nursing procedures at HFPC</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Secondary Functions:</b></div>
<ul><li>Other duties pertaining to the mission of the organization as assigned by management.</li>
</ul>

<div></div><div><b>Job Requirements:</b></div>
<div>Current Medical license in the State of Ohio and an M.D. in Family Medicine or Obstetrics/Gynecology. Five or more years of experience practicing in an obstetrical setting.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Work Environment:</b> Medical office environment may include low to moderate noise. Office lighting and exposure to patients and the public.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Essential Physical Requirements: </b>Ability to meet the following physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation:</div>
<div></div><div>Use hands to manipulate, handle, feel, and control keyboard, telephone and other office equipment; walk, bend, kneel, and reach; lift 15-25 lbs. Long periods of repetitive keyboarding, Stand, sit for long periods of time; able to drive to various locations; to read, write, and interpret written documents and electronic records.</div>
