DESIGNATION: Junior AccountantDEPARTMENT: AccountsINDUSTRY : Digital and Static SignageLOCATION: Eljo, Kochin, India PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:The purpose of a junior accountant role is to support the accounting and finance team in various tasks related to financial management, reporting, and analysis. They play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing essential support to senior accounting staff. Additionally, the junior accountant position serves as a learning opportunity for individuals aspiring to grow their careers in accounting and finance.Job responsibilities:<ul><li>Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate.</li><li>Update accounts receivable as well as payable and perform reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.</li></ul>Knowledge and skills:<ul><li>Excellent communication skills both written &amp; verbal.</li><li>All round accounting skills up to finalization and statutory audit.</li><li>Strong skills in Microsoft office especially MS Excel.</li><li>Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.</li><li>Ability to manage priority and get things done on time.</li><li>Self-motivated individual with accountability and responsibility.</li><li>Good team player.</li><li>Basic understanding of GCC VAT preferred.</li></ul>PAYABLES1. ALL PURCHASE BILLS BOOKING AND IMPORT COSTING (IMPORT /LOCAL /UTILITY)2. OTHER PAYABLES RECONCILIATION3. BOOKING PETTY CASH ENTRIES (PV)4. BANK RECONCILIATION5. ALL BANK PAYMENT ENTRIES6. ACCRUED PURCHASE RECONCILIATION7. OTHER ACCOUNTS RELATED JOBS ACCORDING TO THE REQUIREMENTSSkills<ul><li>Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft applications.</li></ul>QUALIFICATION<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.</li></ul>EXPERIENCE<ul><li>At least 1 years of accounting experience using ERP or accounting software systems, preferably NetSuite.</li><li>preference for a male candidate.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;20,000.00 - &#8377;25,000.00 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Accounting: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
