 Designation: Assistant Manager &ndash; Procurement
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage procurement activities for:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Main contract works.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consultancy services
 </li>
 <li>
 Nominated subcontractor works.
 </li>
 <li>
 Direct contract works and Direct purchase.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Review tender packages and ensure completeness before floating tenders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor tender process and ensure timely bid submissions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with internal technical and project management teams to respond to RFIs and issue tender clarifications on time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze bids and prepare detailed bid comparisons against budget and previous awarded projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure bid compliance with tender documents and project requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiating with bidders to keep the cost within the budget and ensure compliance on the commercial / contractual terms and conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Finalization of procurement activities and process orders
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with design, project management, and contracts teams to streamline tender finalization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft Letters of Award (LOA), Consultancy agreements, and Letters of nominations
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain procurement logs and ensure timely tender completion aligned with project schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluation of prequalification of new contractors &amp; suppliers to update company vendor list and developing new sources for the benefit of the company to achieve savings
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Candidate Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in estimation and quantity take-off
 </li>
 <li>
 Industry Experience: Main Contractor or Real Estate Developer (Towers &amp; Villas &ndash; Master Developments)
 </li>
 <li>
 Skills &amp; Knowledge:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Knowledge in entire procurement process
 </li>
 <li>
 Pre-contract cost estimation
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge in reviewing Tender drawings and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and negotiation skills
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Experience: Minimum 5-10 yrs Experience in UAE with Main Contractor / Real Estate developer as Estimator/ QS -Precontract
 </li>
 <li>
 Qualification: Graduation / Diploma in Civil Engineering
 </li>
 </ul>
