About the job Seeking an experienced Director of Product Management with a strong background in medical devices (spine) and product management to lead the product life cycle from concept and development to innovation of Class I, Class II and Class III medical devices. Proven leadership skills are essential as the role will also involve working with key stakeholders including cross functional leaders, KOL&rsquo;s, clients and vendors both domestically and international to ensure the successful execution of product to our end user.Key Responsibilities:Product Strategy &amp; Support<ul><li>Identify and execute product strategy for the company&rsquo;s full portfolio to ensure it aligns with business goals.</li><li>Contribute to the strategic direction while focusing on cutting-edge technologies and providing regular updates to key stakeholders and senior management.</li><li>Identify, develop and execute strategic marketing and business plans to ensure maximum outcome with the goal of continued optimization.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure we capitalize on all business opportunities.</li></ul>Market Research &amp; Analysis<ul><li>Analyze trends and conduct market research and competitive analysis including voice of customer programs from concept to product launch including feasibility assessment, clinical validation and commercialization.</li><li>Collaborate closely with surgeons, clinical specialists, and hospital procurement teams to collect feedback and identify new product opportunities and continuous improvement.</li><li>Build key metrics and KPIs to optimize marketing and business strategies.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues and ensure task completion by establishing priorities, validating solutions and reaching a conclusion with key stake holders including functional managers, team members and senior management.</li></ul>Business Development &amp; Product Lifecycle Management<ul><li>Lead in developing business cases and financial models to support new product programs and existing product enhancements.</li><li>Develop and execute comprehensive product and marketing strategies for the orthopedic/spinal portfolio.</li><li>Partner with R&amp;D and manufacturing to define product specifications, prioritize features, and ensure timely and compliant product development.</li><li>Lead go-to-market strategy, including product positioning, pricing, catalog development, and promotional planning.</li><li>Partner with key leaders to ensure successful results with P&amp;L including achieving targets around sales revenue, margin and operating income.</li><li>Manage budget forecasts for both business and financial decisions.</li><li>Monitor product performance and collect feedback from customers to identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement.</li><li>Partner in post launch reviews and analyze performance against current metrics and KPI&rsquo;s.</li></ul>Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Maintain various performance dashboards including KPI&rsquo;s.</li><li>Conduct regular analysis to identify areas for improvement including product enhancements.</li><li>Stay current on industry trends, best practices, competitors&rsquo; activities, technological advances, regulations to support the company&rsquo;s business goals and portfolio.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineer, Life Sciences or similar field. Job Summary:This role provides comprehensive front-line support to independent sales representatives and customers regarding orders, products, and services, interacting via telephone, email, online chat, and in person. The position is responsible for efficiently troubleshooting inquiries and concerns, maintaining detailed interaction records, and processing shipments. Additional duties include assisting Accounting with inventory reconciliation of loaner equipment and trunk stock, utilizing product knowledge to resolve issues (escalating when necessary), and entering orders. The role requires versatility in performing various operational and customer service tasks.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Interact with independent sales representatives and customers (telephone, email, online chat, or in person) to provide support and information on existing orders, products or services.</li><li>Ensure appropriate actions are taken to troubleshoot inquiries and concerns, in a timely manner.</li><li>Maintain records of interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, and comments, as well as actions taken.</li><li>Process Shipments as needed including collecting product, prepare box for shipment, prepare label and ship via courier including either drop off or arrange for courier pick up.</li><li>Assist the Accounting department in reconciling inventory counts sent by sales representatives to maintain control over loaner equipment and trunk stock.</li><li>Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative&rsquo;s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.</li><li>Collect and enter orders as needed.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned to support bookkeeping function as back up.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Competencies<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>2 years' experience in customer service required.
