*Job Summary*Job DescriptionOur firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support our attorneys in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, bilingual in English and Spanish, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative and legal support tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and professionalism in client-facing interactions.Key Responsibilities:-Schedule and coordinate mediations, depositions, court hearings, and client meetings-Communicate fluently in Spanish with clients, witnesses, and outside parties as needed-Prepare, review, and file legal documents through e-filing systems-Manage and process medical and billing affidavits for personal injury and related matters-Serve as a firm liaison between attorneys, clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel-Draft routine correspondence, letters, and notices for attorney review-Maintain organized case files, calendars, and task lists to ensure deadlines are met-Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staffQualifications:-Prior legal assistant or paralegal experience preferred-Bilingual (English/Spanish) required-Strong knowledge of state and federal e-filing procedures-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software-Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment-High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Houston, TX 77019 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
