We seek team members who are willing and eager to learn, develop and expand their knowledge base.Duties and functions include:<ul><li>Performing administrative tasks within various billing and case management software</li><li>Billing</li><li>Time entry</li><li>Assisting attorneys with litigation projects related to all phases of discovery, including electronic discovery, trial and post-trial</li><li>Assisting with the preparation and filing of legal documents, including electronic filing, both state and federal</li><li>Participating in all aspects of pretrial and trial preparation</li><li>Proofreading of briefs and non-filed materials</li><li>Drafting letters, correcting and adjusting formatting of documents and preparing mailings both certified and via overnight courier companies.</li></ul>Candidates should be self-starters with great multi-tasking abilities, organization, and time management skills, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.Qualifications:&middot; Experience in a law firm or legal department is required.&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.&middot; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.&middot; Experience filing in State and/or Federal Court required.&middot; Works well independently and as a member of team.&middot; Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills.&middot; Detail oriented, superior organizational skills, strong proofreading skills.This position provides an engaging opportunity for a dedicated legal professional to contribute meaningfully to litigation cases while developing expertise across diverse areas of law.Pay: $50,000.00 - $78,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Litigation Legal Assistant and/or Paralegal: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Paralegal Certificate (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
