Our day time hours are from 11:30 - 4:30 M-F, and flexible.Applicants should possess superior customer service skills, be highly organized, capable of working independently and be prepared to work in a variety of capacities including:Understanding and learning the shop menu to craft artfully delicious treats with precision, consistency and attention to detailEnsure opening, closing and downtime procedures are being executed on shifts workedKeeping the overall appearance of the shop in its best conditionCoaching employees on shifts worked when cleaning or stocking of items are missed or not done correctlyEnsure shop equipment is kept clean including shake machines and waffle makerFlagging to employees when items on opening and closing checklist are not metConducting walk-thru on shifts to ensure opening and closing checklists items are crossed offMaking list for next shift manager for &lsquo;to do items&rsquo; to be addressedOperating the soft-serve machine maintenance including stirring and removing foam, assisting owners in cleaning of the machine, filling soft-serve when it is low and inventorying soft-serve including taking out frozen soft-serve to be thawed when necessaryHelping manage inventory and flagging when items are low (checklist to be provided)Manage ice cream inventory, clean and sort tubs; teaching staff how to do thisAbility to work special events including: weddings, shop/Grove events, charitable events, festivals and farmer&rsquo;s marketsJob Type: Part-timePay: $17.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Store discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
