Do you love beautiful design but also thrive in the behind-the-scenes mechanics that make projects run smoothly?Elms Interior Design is seeking a highly organized, proactive Product Procurement &amp; Logistics Coordinator to manage the purchasing, tracking, delivery of furnishings, finishes, lighting, and d&eacute;cor for high-end residential and/or commercial interior design projects.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage purchasing of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and d&eacute;cor from domestic and international vendors</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare and issue purchase orders; confirm pricing, lead times, and specifications</li></ul><ul><li>Track orders from placement through final delivery and installation</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate freight, white-glove delivery, warehousing, and installation logistics</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor backorders, delays, damages, and discrepancies; resolve issues proactively</li></ul><ul><li>Reconcile vendor invoices and collaborate with accounting on billing and approvals</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain detailed procurement logs, order trackers, and project documentation</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate regularly with designers, vendors, workrooms, and clients as needed</li></ul><ul><li>Support project timelines by anticipating and mitigating supply chain risks</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, operations, or project coordination (design, construction, or hospitality experience a plus)</li></ul><ul><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li></ul><ul><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines</li></ul><ul><li>Comfortable working with vendors, freight companies, and installation teams</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with design software (Studio Designer, Design Manager, Ivy, or similar) is a plus</li></ul><ul><li>Calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and unflappable when shipments go sideways</li></ul><ul><li>Clear communicator with a professional, client-facing demeanor</li></ul>Why You&rsquo;ll Love Working With Us:<ul><li>Be part of a creative, collaborative design studio</li></ul><ul><li>Play a critical role in bringing beautiful projects to life</li></ul><ul><li>Work on high-end, design-forward projects</li></ul><ul><li>Competitive salary + benefits</li></ul><ul><li>Opportunities for growth as the firm expands</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timeExpected hours: No less than 20 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Procurement: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Boston, MA 02118 (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Boston, MA 02118 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
