About the Role</div><div>
The Customer Success Go-To-Market (GTM) Manager serves as the critical interface between the Customer Success, Product, and GTM teams. This individual contributor role ensures that customer insights, adoption trends, and success metrics are directly embedded into product launch activities, both new and updates, commercialization plans, and market strategies. The role enhances alignment across Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, enabling Elsevier to deliver greater customer value, accelerate product adoption, and drive retention and growth.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities</div><ul><li><div>
Serving as the primary Customer Success liaison into Product and GTM planning, representing customer needs and adoption insights in launch and roadmap discussions.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Partnering with Product Managers, Product Marketing, and GTM teams to design and execute launch plans that drive customer adoption and retention.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Working closely with the CS Management Teams and SME/CSMs to ensure that information is flowing back to them for input and action when necessary.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Contributing to pilot and early access programs with selected customers, capturing feedback and translating insights into scalable improvements</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Collaborating with Support and Customer Success teams to identify friction points and recommend proactive, AI-enabled solutions that deflect tickets and improve customer experience.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Developing and maintaining enablement of resources, including onboarding content, adoption of playbooks, and success guides tailored to new product features.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Analyzing product usage and customer health data to identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement and feeding those insights back into GTM function to impact planning and future launch activities.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Contributing to roadmap and product decisions through customer-derived evidence, ensuring the voice of the customer shapes product strategy.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Communicating adoption of performance, customer feedback, and success metrics to cross-functional leadership on a regular basis.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Requirements</div><ul><li><div>
Have 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Product, or Go-To-Market roles within a SaaS, data, or technology environment.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Display proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success functions.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Have a deep understanding of the Customer Success function including insight into other post sale activities and customer journey inputs.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Possess exceptional analytical mindset alongside technical skills, with the ability to interpret usage data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform decisions.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Have excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; able to influence without authority.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Experience managing or supporting product launches and customer pilot programs.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Display understanding customer lifecycle management, adoption of metrics, and retention strategies.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Have familiarity with Customer Success and GTM tools such as Gainsight, Salesforce, and product analytics platforms.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Home based-New York $113,100 - $188,500.<br>
 If performed in New York City, the pay range is $118,200 - $197,100. If performed in Rochester, NY, the pay range is $97,700 - $162,700.
U.S. National Pay Range: $102,800 - $171,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.<br>
This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.<br>

About the Role</div><div>
The role is responsible for the management and organization of complex and potentially high-risk rights and permissions contracts. You will be collaboration with other Data Operations Teams, Sales, Product, Legal, and external third-party content providers. The focus of the role is enabling compliant, successful commercial outcomes, customer satisfaction around contracting. You will also need to be able to develop a strategic view of how new Legal toolkits and AI service play a role in enhancing efficiencies across the end-to-end rights and permissions lifecycle.</div><div>
This Contracts Specialist will be working with the Publishing Relationship Managers to negotiate, create, review, and manage third party publisher contracts (Elsevier third party licenses/Efeed contracts) and permission forms while ensuring compliance with copyright laws, intellectual property rights, and industry and regional regulations.</div><div>
You will support key stakeholders with general legal questions on rights and permissions and contract creation and commercial negotiation support. You will create relevant documentation, leveraging internal policies and legal toolkits to support the third-party engagements on rights and permissions and to build our external business partner relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the way we work with 3PP (Content Partners), and to build contracting strategies, enhance publishing collaborations, and ensure legal and commercial success.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities</div><ul><li><div>
Contract Management: Support contract negotiations, perform contract management and customer contact, as necessary, to provide proper contract fulfilment, aligning with company policies, legal, and customer requirements. Working with third party content providers, Legal, Product, and Operations to develop, review feed contract requirements.</div></li><li><div>
Stakeholder Management: Managing executed contracts by working closely with the Product teams and Operations to identify, develop and negotiate work required by the third-party content provider that is outside of the signed contract.</div></li><li><div>
Process Optimization and Documentation: Support the preparation of contracts, amendments &amp; renewals. Customizes documents to accurately reflect services to be provided, oversees finalization of documents and distributions to the third-party content provider and internal departments. Identifying, developing, and implementing strategies for increasing efficiencies on assigned projects.</div></li><li><div>
Compliance and Risk assessment: Ensuring that contractual documentation complies to applicable law and Elsevier and RELX policies. Recognizing and escalating matters that create significant risks to the business.</div></li><li><div>
Self-Organized: Working independently, consulting with senior members of the Legal and Operations team and business stakeholders as appropriate.</div></li><li><div>
Legal Knowledge: Excellent organizational skills, high-level understanding of contract management, detail-oriented, capable of designing, implementing and maintaining efficient processes.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
