<b>Job Summary:</b><br>
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for production optimization, design transfer, and sustaining activities related to the EnVisio system. In this role, the engineer will develop processes and controls to improve the quality, repeatability, scalability, and cost of the EnVisio system. They will collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to improve current designs and coordinate the manufacturing transfer of next-generation designs, including the development of IQ/OQ/PQ requirements. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer will utilize quality metrics to identify and address trends in existing manufacturing processes, implement and manage tooling and fixtures for current production processes, and maintain existing specifications, work instructions, and forms.</div>

<b>Job Responsibilities:</b><br>
Develop and improve manufacturing processes for capital and disposable product lines using a risk-based approach.<br>
Design, build, and validate manufacturing, testing, and service fixtures in collaboration with design and electrical engineering teams.<br>
Identify and implement process control points to mature manufacturing processes.<br>
Assess existing parts and suppliers to drive cost and quality improvements.<br>
Support sourcing strategies for new product designs.<br>
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including facility layout optimization and automation proposals.<br>
Evaluate and support implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).<br>
Assist in bill of materials (BOM) development and maintenance.<br>
Identify and qualify alternate sources for components and materials.<br>
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools for manufacturing support.<br>
Generate and execute protocols and support documentation.<br>
Develop and document manufacturing requirements and procedures.<br>
Perform other tasks as defined to support manufacturing operations.</div>

Qualifications<br>
<b>Education and Experience:</b><br>
2+ Years in manufacturing engineering roles or equivalent STEM experience<br>
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.<br>
Manufacturing experience required.<br>
Medical Device/Industry experience preferred.<br>
Solidworks/CAD experience required.<br>
Startup, small business experience preferred.</div>

<b>Required Skills/Abilities:</b><br>
Strong communication skills.<br>
Ability to work effectively with others.<br>
Self-starter who has helped manage production processes for electrical and/or mechanical equipment.</div>

Generally desk work, occasionally 40 lbs. lift/movement<br>
