As a <b>Behavioral Health Technician,</b> you&rsquo;ll team up with a passionate crew of therapists, counselors, and mentors to support teens (ages 12&ndash;17) on their mental health and recovery journey. You&rsquo;ll lead activities like art, music, games, and sports while helping young people build confidence, connection, and coping skills through hands-on experiences. Most importantly, you&rsquo;ll be part of a <b>mission-driven team</b> focused on reducing <b>teen behavioral health challenges</b> and making a lasting impact in our community.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li><b>Make an impact </b>by mentoring teens and fostering a safe, engaging, and structured therapeutic environment.</li><li><b>
Lead adolescents </b>through daily routines, group activities, and the development of healthy coping strategies.</li><li><b>
Receive paid training </b>in substance use recovery counseling and safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention techniques to respond effectively to behavioral escalations.</li><li><b>
Document progress notes daily </b>and communicate key updates to the Program Director.</li><li><b>
Collaborate with clinical staff </b>to ensure individualized care and to maintain a safe, supportive atmosphere.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li><div><b>
Age:</b> 21+</div></li><li><div><b>
Education:</b> High school diploma or equivalent GED is required; associate&rsquo;s or bachelor&rsquo;s in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field preferred.</div></li><li><div><b>
Experience:</b> 1+ year working with adolescents in behavioral health, education, coaching, or mentorship preferred.</div></li><li><div><b>
Certifications:</b> CPR and First Aid preferred (training provided).</div></li><li><b>
Physical Intervention:</b> Must be willing and able to participate in physical interventions (e.g., therapeutic holds) when necessary, following all safety protocols and trauma-informed practices</li><li><b>
Physical Requirements: </b>Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk and run short distances, respond quickly in crisis situations, and safely engage in physical interventions when necessary.</li><li><div><b>
Background Checks:</b> Must pass pre-employment drug screening and federal/state background checks per Missouri law.</div></li></ul>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Maintain safe boundaries and relationships with students and staff, utilizing verbal de-escalation or physical intervention techniques as needed.</li><li>
Serve as a positive role model, fostering a supportive atmosphere and encouraging teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skills.</li><li>
Collaborate with Team Leads and Shift Supervisors to facilitate student schedules, ensure safety, and support daily campus operations.</li><li>
Provide support during classroom instruction, campus events, and recreation therapy, actively engaging with students and staff.</li><li>
Communicate important observations and updates to the Program Director, ensuring clear and timely information flow.</li><li>
Document client progress notes daily at the end of each shift to track progress and ensure continuity of care.</li><li>
Respond to feedback with a positive outlook while promoting a safe and empathetic environment for students</li></ul>
Qualifications:

The <b>Overnight Shift Supervisor</b> is a core member of the Treatment Team. The mission of the Shift Supervisor is to ensure safety through adherence to all Policies and Procedures, and to support clients in all aspects of daily life, ensuring their needs are met. The Overnight Shift Supervisor is responsible for aligning with the Program Director in establishing and maintaining a positive staff culture at Embark. This position will be expected to develop their shift team to run their shift smoothly.</div><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Achieve alignment with Program Director on initiatives and goals for the Residential Program.</li><li>
Integrate Embark at Greeley culture, norms, and sustainable systems and processes for the long-haul.</li><li>

Encourages our staff to provide consistency to our clients.</li><li>
Implement and facilitate State required trainings.</li><li>
Collaborate with various work groups.</li></ul>
