Job Description:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP projects and a solid understanding of FIDIC contract conditions. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for MEP projects.</li><li>Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations and packages.</li><li>Monitor project costs and prepare regular financial reports.</li><li>Assess and process progress claims, variations, and final accounts.</li><li>Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions (particularly FIDIC).</li><li>Assist in the preparation of contractual claims and dispute resolution.</li><li>Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure commercial efficiency.</li><li>Conduct site visits and verify the physical progress of works for valuation purposes.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the MEP sector.</li><li>Strong knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract (Red, Yellow, or Silver Book preferred).</li><li>Proven experience in cost control, contract administration, and claims.</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., Candy, CostX) is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li></ul>Salary and Benefits:<ul><li>Please note that the salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience and may be negotiable for highly qualified candidates.</li><li>Paid Leaves.</li><li>Visa and work permit sponsorship.</li><li>Life and medical insurance.</li><li>Transportation provided.</li><li>Additional standard company benefits.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: BD1,000.000 - BD2,500.000 per month
