<div>Emerald Coast Infectious Diseases / American Medical Group is looking to hire a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) for both administrative and clinical tasks in the practice.
Clinical Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Vital Signs: Measuring and recording patients' vitals (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration).
</li><li>Patient History: Taking and documenting patients' medical histories, including current medications and allergies.
</li><li>Assisting with Procedures: Helping physicians with various medical procedures, such as wound care, and injections.
</li><li>Phlebotomy: Drawing blood samples for laboratory testing.
</li><li>Sterilization/Disinfection: Properly cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments.
</li></ul>Administrative Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Scheduling: Coordinating and scheduling patient appointments.
</li><li>Record Keeping: Maintaining and updating patient records, including electronic health records (EHRs).
</li><li>Billing and Coding: Assisting with billing and coding procedures.
</li><li>Patient Flow: Managing patient flow in the clinic.
</li><li>Referrals: Coordinating referrals to other healthcare professionals.
</li><li>Communication: Communicating with patients and other healthcare providers as needed.
</li><li>Office Management: Performing general office duties such as answering phones, greeting patients, and ordering supplies.
</li><li>Additional Responsibilities:
</li><li>Medication Administration: Administering medications as directed by a physician.
</li><li>Patient Education: Providing basic patient education on their condition or treatment plan.
</li><li>Patient Safety: Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
</li></ul>Qualifications:
CCMA Certification
