Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Materials Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and materials handling, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of materials within our facility. Accepts and supports changes.&middot;Adheres to dress code and personnel policies.Patient Safety&middot; Demonstrates adherence and participation in the hospital patient safety program.&middot; Appropriately utilizes internal reporting systems to protect and improve patient safety.&middot; Demonstrates full knowledge of the infection control policies and procedures.Education &amp; Development&middot; Maintains all necessary licensure and certifications without management follow-up.&middot; Participate in all necessary departmental/hospital-wide educational offerings.&middot; Attends unit/department staff meetings.&middot; Completes quarterly and annual education as necessary without management follow-up.&middot; Provides active feedback to supervisor to enhance the effectiveness of the position.Care Delivery (clinical Specific)&middot; Assesses patient status/needs and adapts to provide individualized care.&middot; Appropriately documents required information.&middot; Maintains department equipment and supplies as assigned.&middot; Adheres to code procedures.&middot; Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.&middot; Store and organize materials in designated stock areas, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO/FEFO).&middot;Deliver supplies, equipment, and materials to hospital departments in a timely manner.&middot; Maintain accurate inventory records using hospital inventory management systems.&middot; Assist with cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.&middot; Operate material-handling equipment&middot; Monitor stock levels and notify supervisor of shortages or urgent supply needs.&middot; Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations.&middot; Assist in managing consignment items, sterile supplies, and medical equipment as needed.&middot; Provide excellent customer service to clinical and non-clinical staff requesting supplies.Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: High school diploma or GED required.
