Web Developer &mdash; Job DescriptionSummaryDesign, build, and maintain responsive, performant, and accessible web applications and sites that meet business and user requirements.Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, test, and deploy front‑end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte as applicable).</li><li>Build and maintain back‑end services and APIs (Node.js, Python/Django/Flask, Ruby on Rails, PHP/Laravel, or .NET) to support application functionality.</li><li>Integrate with databases (SQL and NoSQL), third‑party APIs, authentication providers, and payment gateways.</li><li>Ensure responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility; implement mobile‑first best practices.</li><li>Optimize performance (bundle size, caching, lazy loading, CDN usage) and monitor application metrics.</li><li>Implement and enforce accessibility (WCAG) and web standards.</li><li>Write automated tests (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.</li><li>Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA, and DevOps to scope features, estimate work, and deliver on schedule.</li><li>Maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and environment configurations.</li><li>Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement fixes and improvements.</li><li>Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.</li><li>Keep up with web technologies and recommend improvements, libraries, and tools.</li><li>Mentor junior developers and contribute to team best practices and standards.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience preferred.</li><li>2+ years (mid) to 5+ years (senior) of professional web development experience.</li><li>Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one major front‑end framework (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte).</li><li>Experience with server‑side development and RESTful/GraphQL API design.</li><li>Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive layout techniques, and CSS preprocessors or utility frameworks (Sass, Tailwind).</li><li>Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORMs.</li><li>Experience with build tools and package managers (Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn/pnpm).</li><li>Knowledge of security best practices for web apps (CSP, XSS/CSRF mitigation, secure auth).</li><li>Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests).</li><li>Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.</li></ul>Preferred skills<ul><li>Experience with TypeScript, JAM stack, serverless platforms, headless CMS, or static site generators.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Experience with performance monitoring (Lighthouse, Sentry, New Relic) and A/B testing.</li><li>Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and web analytics (Google Analytics, GA4).</li><li>Contributions to open‑source projects or a strong public portfolio.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: QAR79.35 - QAR120.45 per hourWork Location: In person
