<p>
Welder is a key role in EMIT's manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for welding parts, according to blueprints and instructions, based on your daily production scheduled expectations.</p>

Key Accountabilities:</b></h4>
<ul>
<li><p>Perform welding tasks to meet daily production priorities.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Prepare and assemble parts with proper fitment, which may involve cutting, bending, and grinding.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Review blueprints to ensure finished products meet quality specifications.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Identify and escalate errors or process adjustments to the Team Leader as needed.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including completing the weekly welder checklist.</p>
</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications:</b></h4>
<ul>
<li><p>High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or technical training preferred</p>
</li>
<li><p>1+ year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment (MIG/TIG/Stick as applicable)</p>
</li>
<li><p>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols</p>
</li>
<li><p>Proficient in cutting, bending, and grinding to achieve proper fitment</p>
</li>
<li><p>Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met</p>
</li>
<li><p>Comfortable escalating errors or process changes to team leadership</p>
</li>
<li><p>Ability to lift 50&ndash;75 lbs. repeatedly and stand/walk for the duration of a shift</p>
</li>
<li><p>Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all PPE and safety requirements</p>
</li>
<li><p>Self-motivated with the ability to meet daily production expectations</p>
</li>
</ul><p><b>Physical &amp; Safety Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the duration of a shift.</li>
<li>Always use proper PPE when required.</li>
<li>Follow safety protocols when using tools and handling cleaning materials.</li></ul><br>
