Accounts managerIndustry: International Tour Operations / Travel &amp; Tourism Department: Finance &amp; AccountsJob SummaryThe Accounts Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities of the international tour operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, reconciliations, and compliance with statutory and company policies.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting &amp; Finance<ul><li>Maintain daily books of accounts including cash, bank, and journal entries.</li><li>Record sales invoices, purchase bills, and expense vouchers related to tour operations.</li><li>Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable for international suppliers and clients.</li><li>Process payments to hotels, transporters, airlines, DMCs, and overseas partners.</li></ul>Banking &amp; Reconciliation<ul><li>Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations.</li><li>Monitor foreign currency transactions and exchange rate differences.</li><li>Track incoming payments from overseas agents and B2B clients.</li></ul>Tour Costing &amp; Invoicing<ul><li>Assist in tour costing, profit analysis, and margin tracking for packages.</li><li>Prepare and issue invoices to international travel agents and corporate clients.</li><li>Verify supplier bills against confirmed services and contracts.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation for audits and management review.</li></ul>System &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Generate MIS reports on revenue, expenses, receivables, and payables.</li><li>Support Accounts Manager during audits and financial closing.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Basic Knowledge of accounting principles and taxation (GST, TDS).</li><li>Understanding of travel industry accounting and foreign currency transactions.</li><li>Proficiency in any accounting software and MS Excel, chat gpt</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com ,Mcom, MBA preferred).</li><li>1&ndash;2 years of experience in accounts, preferably in travel/tourism industry.</li><li>Experience handling international transactions is an added advantage.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>Accuracy of financial records</li><li>Timely invoicing and collections</li><li>On-time vendor payments</li><li>Compliance with statutory deadlines</li></ul>The starting salary is ₹15,000, with a maximum of ₹25,000 depending on experience and performance.contact number :8129613331 (watsapp)Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
